Edit: You're actually better off just going to that page and read posts starting at 1126, didn't realize the shortcut would give you that post only.... The Amazon Local shortcut in post 1127 will take you to the actual deal, for some reason the original is no longer working right.

Harris Hill info is at http://www.harrishillroad.com/harris...ng-schools.php

This seems like a great way to get out and try out the track.

Edit: Yep. Linky works for me in the quote box.

Great run today all. Glad it was safe. Few too many two wheelers and one too many DPS. Got pulled over south of Bandera for front license plate being slanted. Just a warning though.

All a fantastic day. Thanks for organizing!

Pulled over for a slanted front plate??? That trooper clearly was reaching. Glad that you weren't speeding at the time and got only a warning.

Not that many pics from me this time...gallery...http://extreme86.smugmug.com/SmugPre...8139873_rWqjhW

Just to recap for those that didn't make it: Run went GREAT!! Very few slowdowns - mainly at the end. Surprisingly, not really that many motorcycles were out on the run in our direction. However, Bandera and Leaky were inundated with bikers. Huge meet in Bandera this weekend. When we got to the Bent Rim Grill to do lunch, we drove through and exited as there was no place to park and no cars were even there that I saw....entire property was covered with motorcycles and motorcycle ppl! We went back to Medina and had lunch at The Apple Store!

There was an increased law enforcement presence on the roads from Leakey to outside of Bandera. Sheriffs, Constables and DPS. None on the run itself. Tim, thanks for taking the lead and setting the pace, sir. Excellent driving, everyone. It was a blast!! Thanks for coming!!

Good thing I had my plate mounted on the front...I've been removing it when there is picture taking like at C&C and almost took it off yesterday morning. Glad you only got a warning. Us radical 86 owners are becoming a danger to society. Exciting times living life on the edge of danger...with tilted license plates and all!!

We are a crazed group of radicals for sure. Hell bent on a license plate revolution. That being said, the DPS trooper was cordial and polite. Which I did appreciate.

line (e) and (d) confusing

(d) A court may dismiss a charge brought under Subsection (a)(1) if the defendant:
(1) remedies the defect before the defendant's first court appearance; and
(2) pays an administrative fee not to exceed $10.

(e) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $200.

Sooo does this mean that having no front license plate is dismisable if you take it to court or are you forced to pay the 200$ fine..? just a thought..
