Oem Frs spoiler swap to a Brz spoiler?

Can this be Done? i really love the Brz spoiler but i have the oem spoiler from the factory, Will the holes drilled in my trunk fit the brz spoiler perfectly or will i have to get a new trunk or patch the holes?

Have you thought about trading trunks? Might be easier.

Also maybe the tech subforum for what you are looking for. Generally the guys that know what they are talking about hang out there.

Bump.

Also, really want to know if this can be done. I'm picking up my monogram this weekend, and much prefer the GT86/BRZ spoiler to the FR-S one. I'm going to check with the Subaru place tomorrow and see if I can get an answer. I'll post back with the response.

I haven't verified this myself, but recently I've been reading that the VIN is only on a sticker on the trunk, so it might not be an issue.

Got a solid "I dunno"... He mentioned something about the differences between the WRX and WRX STi spoilers and that they require different trunks and he wasn't sure the FR-S deck lid could support the BRZ spoiler.

I'm gonna keep digging though....

The brz does fit the FRS trunk, but if you have the scion OEM spoiler Installed I believe the holes drilled will not match up with the brz holes needed to mount there spoiler on.
