Can never be driving style.
My car has been through it paces, changed pulleys and belts, never had a issue.

then it may be my blower. either way, it's not working very well, and i'm getting paranoid that i'm gonna blow my engine if i keep having issues like that.

Here is what I would do (I've been following your belt woes for awhile now):

Change every pulley and tensioner in the belt path to a new or different unit. If they continue to break, then I would look to the blower snout.

If you find out it is the blower snout and would rather not deal with Innovate, I have a contact who is upgrading me to a 335 who can help you source a new snout to try.

You aren't going to blow your engine from a thrown/broken belt. It's a very annoying thing but certainly not catastrophic.

Have you called innovate about this issue? I'm pretty sure i remember you talking to them about it on the boards, but don't recall whether you've actually called and opened a case with them. From what I understand their phone support is much more helpful than when they check in on the forums.

That's not always the case. I had PRE overwrite my ECUtek flashed ECU with BRZedit, no problem. These are firmware updates. It's a block by block update to the hardware (likely an EEPROM type device since it has a limited lifetime (# of writes)). Just like updating hardware firmware in a PC (e.g. BIOS).

The last time I called Innovate, the jerk on the other line blew me off when looking for a replacement part. Then I reminded myself that I'm talking to an "authorized reseller"..

When I talked to innovate they were very courteous and helpful.

I don't think it's your driving style. Belts shouldn't be breaking on you.

Speaking of belts and pulleys, my alternator pulley is still squeaking..not sure what to really do.

Does yours squeak all the time, while driving too? Or just at startup? I have a squeak at startup, that has been there for several months. I originally thought it was the idler pulley, replaced it, and the squeak is still there.

Mine only happens when the car has been sitting overnight, and I start it up for the first time. The squeak lasts 30secs, then it's gone. It's annoying enough that I want to figure out the source of the squeak and deal with it.

It definitely squeaks on startup, but lately has extended to longer. I have to pay attention and see if it goes away or not after a drive. But even after letting it warm up for a few minutes it's still there as I drive off.

I'll take note today on my way home later and see if it's squeaking when I get back. But when I had pulled the belt off just moving the pulley on the alternator made noise, so it can be easy to check.

Do you have a Blue Gates on

I find the blue rubber makes a odd squeak sound on the pulley at start up and after 30 secs goes away as it warms,

I do, but confirmed it's the pulley when I had the belt off. Turning the pulley made a squeak.

I just don't want to replace the alternator lol

I'm going o be checking the alignment of the pulley on the nose of the blower soon, but I still think I'm gonna sell it. I really do love how she feels, but all these belts popping is getting expensive
