These cars do NOT have harmonic balancers and there has NEVER been a documented case of a LW crank pulley causing engine failure in a Subaru motor.

For $500, they can all be yours!

Other than the crank pulley and SC pulleys, it's all bling.

What's the go between the Go Fast Bits pulley kit vs the Raceseng S2 kit?

Go Fast Bits seem to be better value for me as the shipping is domestic (I'm in Australia).

Is there any point in getting the whole kit aside from the fact that it looks nice or is the Crank Pulley the only component that will actually make a difference?

It you want engine bay to look trick get some pulleys

If you want to increase horsepower and torque spend your money on headers and a tune instead

Already have Tomei UEL headers and a Stage 2 OFT tune.

Looking for throttle response and I've heard these make the engine much smoother to blip on downshift.

Do you have a source for this statement?

Sorry for the late reply.

The EJ motors did not have harmonic dampers, according to a response from SOA Customer Service to this inquiry.

"Thank you for your patience as I checked with our Technical Services Department regarding your message below. They advised that the crank pulley is a pulley and nothing else. It is not used as a harmonic damper/balancer.

Thanks for the opportunity to be of assistance. If you need any future assistance, please feel free to contact us again."

I imagine the FA motors are the same way.
