I looked up this game, read the rules, and Man it looks pretty technical. Looks like fun if you have the time though.

the problem is that the instruction is in broken English and very, very, very enigmatic the game is supposed to reward trial and error and "finding out what works", but really half the battle is figuring out what it all means. it takes a couple of seasons to get into the way of things (a season being 19 races, with 3 races per week)

In the same vein Grand Prix Story is kind of like a "lemonade stand tycoon" for pseudo F1.

Some good interviews and insights here too. Very much enjoy the technical drawings of Enrique Scalabroni, even if his thick accent is sometimes harder to follow. I learned more about blown exhausts and coanda effect from him than any other source. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gryojy2cHnI"]Scalabroni explains Coanda - YouTube[/ame]

Malaysia is this weekend.
Lots of news about the shitty sound of the new cars. Austrailia to sue for breach of contact? I say good on them! I read that Renault would have pulled out of F1 completely if the new turbo V6's weren't chosen, and Honda is returning next year only because of the new engines. Both cite needing to have technology that can be applied to their regular street cars. Bernie and Ferrari both were against the new engine choices. I understand their reasoning. Too bad their choice sounds like crap. This is one of, if not THE hottest track of the year, who will finish the race? |

I guess I've been a fan long enough to remember the turbos of the 1980's and don't think the turbos of today sound much different or any worse. I liked them then and I like them now.
You don't need noise to make power. Now, if someone would just tell Harley Davidson that.

I remember the turbo cars from years ago. They were 1400 horsepower, and were a lot louder. They were awesome. Believe me, if we had those turbo cars racing today, no one would be complaining.

I don't care if they sounds like whistling farts... I'd rather go back to the day in the video with 1400hp, tiny wings and crazy wide tires.

lets put it this way he Porsche Cup cars were louder than the F1 cars, it was a let down, we could stand right up against the fence this year without the need for earplugs when last year my fiance couldn't get near the track without putting them in.
