I think without a tune, this is a decent mod for a street car. More usable power earlier... and you'd just short shift at 7K instead of redline.

Mr. Alex, When will you be sharing MotoIQ's results? Will you make a separate thread? Will you link us all to the potential new thread?

NEED TO KNOW NOW. lol.

I'm not the one writing the article... in fact, I purposely didn't take a picture of the dyno chart as it's not my information to share. But someone else already did, that I have no control over.

Really liking this for a DD/street mod, giving more power a bit lower in the rev range, even if it does come at the price of earlier drop off. Definitely interested to see how they play with a proper tune and/or header.

Also, wonder how long before ebay gets wind of this and runs the price down...

I am well aware "everything is a compromise", I guess I should have been more clear in saying I would rather have more power up top. A slightly later peak would have been nice.

Considering the Perrin intake shows about 4hp up top w/o a tune, I wonder if these plus a good intake would give us some low power w/o a loss up top. The Perrin intake sounds great but most of the power is all up top and only usable on redline runs.

Some more pics of the two brackets spaced out:

A slightly clearer/better shot of the BPB on the driver's side ports:

You really can't see this thing in the engine bay, a normal mechanic might completely miss it.

They're waiting on dyno results and AFR numbers.

All they wanted was some independant tests and we as a community are getting them really quickly.

I didn't install it... but FWIW:

Monday noon, parts "will be installed in afternoon".
Monday 3PM, parts "dyno'd and tested"

Done by a competent mechanic.
