Most of the systems can not measure very smallest changes in flow(smaller measurements than what can be measured by the systems).

So with that in mind I will tune your car of whatever pump fuel you have and then press it to make it very aggressive on that fuel. From there you can add the meth/water kit in as a safety measure. This was the original intention of water/meth kits and how I like to see them used. As an extra safety measure and not be used a an additional tuning system. So make sure to use the smallest jet you can just to add enough mix to increase the octane rating without making it too rich.

Fair enough! Thanks for taking the time to respond. I will use the kit as a safety measure, unfortunately I am restricted by 91 octane fuel.

Is it possible to squeeze out a bit more power on the SD FBM tune I currently have? I feel when I get much past 8 psi, it feels creepy.. hard to explain but the feeling of the acceleration is not comfortable at 10 psi as opposed to 8 or even 8.5.

I did send about 15 updates out last night and a few the night before, with more to come over the next few days.

Cheers,

Email sent. Thanks Bill!

Yeah I am one of the people who he is talking about. The W/M system was a headache and a half. No way will I ever touch W/M again.

I now use torco (which Bill actually tunes for) to increase my octane rating. You can buy a case of 6 cans (quarts) on amazon.com for $124 or Mann Engineering in San Jose CA sells them too. A few track addicts use the stuff religiously at events to keep things safer out there in the heat.

From the chart you can select your fuel tank size on the left and then select what octane you want your fuel to be on the top and then you can determine how much torco you need to add.

91 octane - 225 hp

1 32 oz can of Torco - 239 hp

What are the particulars of your kit?

I found your build thread, but there is no information on what you're using.

Thanks!

So this is almost like a one size fits all type of a tune?

any benefit (or detriment) to using Torco for those running E85? My gut says at best there won't be any noted difference, at worse, it reacts badly with the e85 and makes a mess out of my fuel system. Then again, my gut is often wrong.

Delicious Tuning - Q&A EcuTeK ProECU Tuning and Maps

Wow... I was just thinking about re-doing my tune for my Jackson racing SC Kit and allow for E85... Hmmmm

Has this tune been tested on each kit listed?

@DeliciousTuning

I should be receiving your tune tomorrow, 4/26/14, for the Innovate supercharger Stg 2 on 93 octane and will hopefully have everything installed by next weekend if not tomorrow. Anyways I can never leave sh*t well enough alone and even though I know your tune works really well and you are constantly working to keep improving it, I plan on changing my setup a bit and would like if you could look at things for me to see if it makes much of a difference. I plan on using a Honda MAP sensor and running a GM IAT sensor post blower. Here are a few pics of what I've had done so far with the help of my brother.

Removed material restricting access to the intake manifold runner.

Honda MAP sensor

MAP sensor and IAT plate my brother designed.

Would this be something you'd be willing to take a look at once I have everything up and running?
