Also, the only reason my BRZ really needed to be towed was that the rear bumper folded up to the driver side rear tire and was preventing it from rotating properly. Hopefully there is no frame damage or anything. I guess we will find out soon enough. Waiting for calls from the adjusters and all that fun stuff.

On a lighter note.... I'll try to post up some of the GoPro footage from earlier in the day when I get a chance. Should be some good shots on there.

Glad no one got injured. Sucks to see such beautiful cars in a wreck.

The convoy was fun except when we entered Portland and it got busy on the road.

Yeah that sucks guys, feel bad for you. Terrible way to end a journey. Hopefully the repairs are minimal on the 86ers, but the STI looks like it took quite a bit of damage. Bummer, its a gorgeous car. Hope it all works out in the end for all of you involved and that you were able to get a good nights rest after.

You could just have the repairs done down here and then have someone bring u all down to pick them up and then stop by Perrin once u got your cars back!

I considered that. My current plan though is to go to the shop were my insurance has it arranged to go to tomorrow (Kadels in Hillsboro apparently) and see if it would be possible that they can just help me bend the bumper back off the rear wheel so it is drive-able and then drive it back to Washington so I can have the repairs done nearby for peace of mind and so I can check in on it easier.

I guess the next step is finding a USAA certified auto repair place around Tacoma. Anyone have any good experiences or bad ones to make sure to stay away? Let me know! In fact, I think all three cars would benefit from a good repair place since we all seem to live somewhat nearby :P

I had Kadels repair my Ford Explorer that got smashed and they did a great job. They've been around for a long time and I don't know anyone personally that has been unhappy with their services. I do know that they are a busy shop tho and take a little longer than some others.

Ask for Leifs instead of Kadels. Kadels is horrible! They WILL miss most mechanical stuff and they use cheap parts and materials.

Kadels did my bumper and painted my lip and skirts. Did a pretty good job; none of that is mechanical though.

It was through my insurance, but I think it was ~$1800 to paint and install front bumper, lip and the skirts.
