As for me I stick with real petrol. I will never feed my car GMO corn. If it's bad for you it's probably bad for the car too.

Only vpower 91 contains no ethanol at shell.
And isn't it bad to fill up our cars with 87?

Not really ..it recommends premium but if you're empty and need to fill up and only have regular gas then you can use regular as an emergency

Running like ass must be very subjective, mine runs perfect on 91 octane.

Most 91 has ethanol as well (Petro included), so that's a bit of a moot point. Plus, would 10% ethanol be enough to raise the octane 3 points?

I wouldn't go anywhere near WOT on 87 octane, but for easy driving there's really no harm in an emergency.

I did a few tanks back to back with vpower91. Still crickets but less often than pc94. So I pretty much threw in the towel and just go straight pc94 all the time now.

My butt dyno definitely feels a noticable difference between 91 and 94. Sure the car accepts 91 but feels sluggish and noticable in power loss. Besides, the car is supposed to take 93 and up to run optimally so I just pump 94.

There are dynos floating around in regards to 91 vs 93. IIRC, 91 dynod at like 135-140whp and 93 dynod in the 160whp ranges.

Just pump 94 if you can get it.

Yeah I can pump 94 but it's just the crickets that bother me

Same car? Same dyno? I find it unbelievable 93 gives you another 20hp on a stock 86.

Petro canada has never been considered premium fuel. Shell and esso are both 91 octane non ethanol. I Dont know if 10% ethanol makes up the 3 octane levels. Why Dont you fill up with 94 and keep us posted?

Just filled up my car at my uncles shell station, did not see a sticker of any of the pumps regarding ethanol.
You may have sticker where you live and are you sure it was a shell.
