Double check your map harness is wired correctly! Match the color wires at each end I found mine was incorrect and did exactly what you pointing out.

AFE DIF, which we found gave an extra 8whp over stock filter Borla UEL The above mods have been on all along with Bill tune, so all the gains obtained have been his work. Oh and not to forget I use Torco to increase the quality of our fuel as it seems our 95 Ron is as good as your 89Oct. I still believe there is more Bill can get out of this tune, which I know he is working hard to release soon. I raced a new shape 2013 Ford Focus ST today and killed it off the line including open road speeds in excess of 230km/h. |

Sending out updates as I am typing this so be on the lookout in your email. Also, FYI, the version being released is 8.51. A couple more changes were made for an even smoother power delivery and better MPG, especially on the highway.

Hi All,
I apologize for not being online much, it has just been incredibly busy and getting more maps dialed in for just about anything forced induction, literally anything, including E85. But back to the Innovate Kit and some concerns, comments and questions that are out there and this post a response to them. Injector Limits for Delicious Tuning Tunes 1. There are some comments on fuel injector sizing and running enough fuel even on E85 for this kit even on the 70mm or smaller pulley. Well there are tuners that have stated you need bigger injectors for their own tuning purposes, which is completely respectable but for our tunes you do not. There is plenty of injector to run well beyond 300whp. By our calculations we are at about 50% duty cycle (at 300whp) on the port injectors and at a reliable and consistent level on the direct injectors. FYI, we have tuned multiple turbo kits (AVO and Full Blown) to well over 350whp on E85 using only stock injectors. If you want more power than that, then let’s talk. Direct Injector Levels for Consistency and Repeatability 2. In regards to direct injectors and the maximum level for them. There is a very clear point where you cannot run them past, though it does take time to figure out those limits and understand what is safe for these injectors. 500+ hrs on the Innovate kit sure helps in that respect. So with that in mind our tunes are at a very safe, reliable and consistent power level. I would sure hope so otherwise we would have a lot of unhappy customers. To Intercooler or Not To Intercooler 3. There are some questions to whether the intercooler really helps on E85 with smaller pulleys. Yes, we have seen an improvement, though not as much as one would think. Because of the properties of E85, you can run more timing and in turn make more power. As a couple members have stated, having the intercooler does keep the high RPM power far more consistent, especially for track use and I would always recommend it. But of course for most people, running pump 91,92,93,94 octane is there poison of choice. With an intercooler on pump fuel there is a BIG difference and of course better MPG’s with pump fuel. Now if you are looking for more crazy talk, how about this. We have experienced an interesting scenario, where running the stock cat back exhaust actually improves the overall power of the vehicle. Yeah, I know crazy talk… You are more than welcome to try it yourself. MAP Sensors, Why We Choose OEM 4. With respect to MAP sensors. We found over nearly 15 years of tuning OEM ECU’s that many of the aftermarket drop in replacement MAP sensors are not at the level of repeatability and consistency we demand for our customer’s tunes. This is why we do not recommend them or use them, as I am sure some of you have experienced problems from what I have seen in various posts. But this is from our personal experience over the years and as companies change their Q&A we will adjust. Being we were worked directly with Innovate on their CARB tune, we were in a position to make sure the tune was repeatable in all conditions possible. For us that meant as many OEM parts as possible, for repeatability, consistency, including the MAF and MAP sensors. Though if you want to use a larger one, we have found a suitable replacement that can ready about 1.65 bar. We will be adding in an optional update for this MAP sensor shortly. Anyway just some questions I wanted to catch up on before spending some time with the family, for the remainder of the day. Of course catching up on emails too. ![]() Cheers, William Knose |

i only tested map 1 on 91, got 3 more maps to test and im really looking forward to seeing car on the dyno, butt feels much more power than the 8.5 we testing. @DeliciousTuning
