Cool Chris's WR Blue BRZ - BRZ #1325 Australia

G’day,
My name is Chris and I’m a civil & construction engineer from the south west of Western Australia. I posted an introduction back when I was waiting for my brand new BRZ premium in WR Blue Mica to arrive. I have since taken delivery of her 2 days before my 25th birthday in November and am proud to officially introduce her. She joins my modified N15 Nissan Pulsar and my work Ford Ranger.

I’ve been a huge fan of the BRZ since they were released, and I am thoroughly impressed with her so far. I was very lucky with ordering mine as the current lead-time is quoted at 4+ months on the Subaru Australia website.

So enough talk, what is it?
MY13 Subaru BRZ Premium (Leather and Alcantara heated seat option)

Genuine floor carpets

Current list of mods
35% & 20% window tint

TOM’s LED tail lights
Genuine Subaru Blue engine cover (signed by former Australian drift champ Beau Yates)
Pioneer AVH-X5550BT multimedia head unit
OEM Style Reversing Camera
Genuine Subaru boot carpet

Some plans, long term and short term include;
Cusco carbon/leather flat bottom steering wheel

STi skirts
STi rear spats
Spoiler with STi gurney flap
JPM Coachworks interior bits
Toyota wind deflectors
TRD sound changers
Personalised plates
Coilovers or springs
Wheels of some description (haven’t made up my mind yet)
Stainless exhaust with titanium tips?
Engine tweaks
Brake upgrade
Eventually a turbo kit (maybe >3years)

And some pics of my current project car, my N15 Nissan Pulsar, for which I have had for about 7 and a half years.

I'm happy to be part of the 86/FR-S/BRZ community! Thanks for having me.

Cheers
Chris

OEM Style Reversing Camera

I managed to find a OEM style reversing camera from my friend at Carbon Car Systems, and over the last few days installed it and integrated it into my AVH-X5550BT Pioneer head unit. The first thing that struck me was the quality of the unit, ease of installation with the supplied instructions and overall customer service from the guys at Carbon Car Systems. Apparently the unit is rated to IP67.

Hopefully within the next couple of weeks I should have some more updates... #hateswaiting

Let us know what you think

Cheers

Thanks man. That was the aim. And for it to be as factory looking as possible.

STi Under Diffuser

To celebrate my recent promotion at work I went out and ordered some goodies for my baby... First of which arrived today.

It's the STi under diffuser. (well I'm calling that... haha)

Quite subtle, but looks pretty awesome I think

Cheers for looking

STi Rear Spats and STi Side Skirts

So, because I recently got a promotion at work, I decided to celebrate, and get some toys for my baby...

The first of which was the STi under diffuser

The other toys are;
Black Dash Mat/Carpet
STi Rear Spats/Pods
STi Side Skirts

Yes, the skirts are GFRP copies. The quality wasn't bad, and I found them locally pretty cheap, but next time I will definitely consider spending the extra and buy genuine... Anyways, enough talk, here are some quick pics.

Let me know what you think. I'm well impressed.

Cheers

So the last couple of nights my brother and I tried some light painting and took some pics of my baby. For completely unedited pics, with little to no setup (it was drizzling with rain) I think they turned out alright.

Here are a few of my favs.

DAMN TREE!!!

Just after this one, it started to pour down, so I couldn't get another...

They are far from perfect, but look pretty special.

Let us know what you think.

Cheers
