2013 Scion FR-S PUSH BUTTON TRD LED INTEGRATED.

What's up everyone! I bought my TRD LED button on ebay for like 100 dollars it was a awesome sale for those things go for like 150-200 dollars!. I bought the Subaru BRZ Panel that has the button cover to pop in the push button start. So I took my panel and button to a company called "Audio Vision" in White Plains. They did a Remote start System on my car and I asked them to integrate the push button start. Here are the results! Hope you guys like it

Now that the video works, looks good. I have a few questions.

Are you unable to push the button without putting/turning the key? How does your remote start work, is it a separate fob on your keychain, or is it integrated into the OEM key (i.e. holding down on unlock for 5 seconds starts the vehicle).

I also noticed you used a TRD button that isn't the norm one used by those who have installed TRD buttons (See below for what I mean). Do you know what part# you got? Any fitment issues? I guess you may not be able to talk about plug and play because it was wired by the remote-start company.

The button I usually see is MS422-00003 and looks like this. And yes these are the ones that usually go for the $150+

The Remote start company installed a prestige remote start that is a seperate key that only does remote start button. I did not want to break my key inside the ignition cylinder and cover it up because the reason is I live in New York and anybody can just break into my car and press the remote start and go. So I did not want to take that risk. I have to put my stock key inside the ignition turn it 2 clicks and then press the push button start. Or I can just use my key and turn the car on like normal. The only reason why I wanted to do it this way is because I wanted the trd button for the looks and option to just to do it. The remote start company told me that the only issue I have now is that If i turn on my car with the remote start I can not unlock or lock my car. I have to use my key to unlock the door from the door handle outside the vechile. But If I do not use the remote start I can unlock and lock with my stock key no problem. The reason for that is they have to install another bypass module for remote start to communicate with my stock key to be able to unlock and lock when remote start is on and that is extra 100-150 but he said he will hook me up next time I bring it back to get it done. Honestly 100-150 dollars more is not worth it.

the trd button i have is the same part # except i believe if i remember correct the last digit # is 1 or 2

I forgot to mention that the guy who installed the push button said he found out that the trd button led relays communicate by negative signals so he was trying to figure out wtf is going on but then he notice it was a japan part and had to resolder the wires.

Looks cool, but I don't really see a point to a push button start if you still have to have the key in the ignition...

could the company have installed push start remote from outside the car with your key fob? that would be cool.

there could be a shift check to not start the car if your shifter is in gear.

The point of the push button is just to complete my GT86 TRD interior look. I did not want to break my key in the ignition because I do not want to take a risk of someone breaking into my car and starting my car without a key.

no They installed a Remote start system called Prestige. It's only a single 1 Button that does Remote Start. (It's what I asked for) The Prestige remote starts my car and 20 minutes it shuts it off. Would you like me to take a video of the remote start system?
