Here's what going on my car:
  • Swift Sport BRZ spec springs (3.8/kg Front + 4.5/kg Rear)
  • SPC Lower Control Arm (w/ Toe Adjustment)
  • SPC Front Camber Bolts
  • Resulting drop will be about 1"

Here's what I'm looking to get out of the car:

  • 80% daily driving, 20% spirited twisties, HPDE, AutoX
  • Running stock wheels/tires for the time being
  • Maintain "BRZish" handling that is forgiving for a beginner; not too tail happy!

I'd appreciate any feedback for the suggested all-around camber setting it seems I'm looking for Thanks in advance.
Slap the front to max and the rear .5 to 1 degree less, just evened out. Thats what I'm doing. Toe is what really kills wear as long as your not in the 2.5°-3° range

I really am enjoying them and enjoying my car alot more.coming from coilovers all I can say is its a good setup ive actually became more faster on the road compared to the time I was on coilovers.the ride isnt too stiff and it almost feels like the stock just right at the moment when u start pushing your car around corner is when realize how amazing these springs are.if I could id go back and not waste my money on coilovers. I think one of most important things here is to enjoy your car for what it is. Ask any of the guys I know very well, I wasnt happy with coilivers maybe just a bad experience or simply wasnt ready..who knows but I feel like I have made a big improvement to my car where with my stiff coilovers I felt like I pretty much was holding my car from progressing almost like handicapping it. Over the springs were exactly what I imagined and im very happy with them. Im sure u will understand all of this once you take a cornee going over 50 and noticing how smooth yet on top and on point these springs are. Have fun on youre new springs sorry for the long msg lol

Not normally an electronic music fan, but I am a fan of good driving music. That being said, I've been listening to a lot of Moog's stuff (the guy from Mighty Car Mods on YouTube), as he writes his music with driving in mind.

His latest album (also the soundtrack to MCM's season premier, 1.5 hour long episode) - Kei to the City:

I used to a few years ago til I moved to Hayward (not really good, avg 165-170). My team stopped by the time i get back. It it would be cool to bowl on a ft86 team, but fairfield is a bit far for me. Lol

I use to bowl league back when I had more time. I use to average 190 to 210. Haven't gone in a long time due to work and the fact that I lost my bowling ball and shoes when I moved. Not trying to wear those rental shoes. Haha

That's cool. might be a fun way to chill some times. how far is hayward? i'll probably get into a league before i do a tournament. when i bowled at USF(FL) i was averaging about 240, but i wont' be anywhere near that now. i'm working on getting new gear and everything. Probably join a traveling league for more competition.
