CFW Trunk Spoiler?
Anyone have a fiberglass one for sale, or know where to get one? Modbargins and other shady websites have both taken my money and now tell me they are months out.

I'm sorry that you might have had a bad experience with us. Not sure what's going on, could you send me a PM so I can correct the situation?
We're the only company who brings these in, we're the only source for them. We didn't expect so many to sell so quickly, we apologize, it was our first batch of these made, and 25+ of them sold within 3 weeks, that's not normally what we would have expected, but of course we thank all of the FT86Club guys who have made their purchase for this spoiler! |

Hi,
I'm assuming this is Jayson? I think you contacted me as soon as you placed the order regarding when these were coming back in stock. As I mentioned in the email, the CFW's are on extensive backorder and we have a wait list going on with customers who have been waiting since January for them to come in. I had mentioned as well that at this time Your credit card has not been charged and no money has been taken out of your account. We DO NOT charge orders until we verify parts are in stock. On a seperate note we do apologize for how long the spoilers are taking to come in. It was our first run on these spoilers and we didnt anticipate the popularity of them. We assure you that we have placed multiple orders for these and expect the first batch to arrive with in the next few weeks. |

Lie? No where on the invoice did it say "oh we havnt charged your card." The invoice states the credit card I entered on the website, and that it would be shipping shortly.
I did not find out until AFTER I reached out to modbargins to see when my item was going to be shipped, when then said it would be weeks. Still no email from them stating that, so if I diddnt reach out myself, I'd still be wondering. Why offer it for sale and take payment information if its not available for weeks? Why not put "This item is on back order, until the middle of april or later?" http://www.modbargains.com/cfw-trunk...er-frs-brz.htm And I'm the one lying? |

EDIT: after learning this I'm going to be looking at Modbargins for future mods that I do knowing that they won't tie up my money when I'm waiting for stuff to come off back order and they will hold my account info for when it does so I don't have to be hassled with a phone call to authorize the purchase, since you know... I've already stated I wanted the product. |

I'm not some kid living paycheck to paycheck, I rarely check my account to see if a transaction was posted or authorized AFTER I TYPED IN MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION INTO THE WEBSITE AND GOT A RECEIPT.
I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you, you are neither related party and this thread is asking if anyone knows where to get the above mentioned product without waiting months. Regardless of how you feel, I feel its unethical to post you have something for sale, then make no effort to let the customer know its backordered for months until they reach out to contact you for shipping. As it sits I am in the middle of rebuilding a car, and I'd like to get all my parts painted while its at the body shop rather than pay $250 + a panel weeks down the road. TL;DR You probably should not be allowing customers to buy items you have listed for sale without mentioning anywhere on the sale page or via email that they arent actually available. And I dont agree with the fact that you now have my credit card information for no reason as I more than likely will pay more to paint the carbon fiber version from a vendor that stated upfront it was the only stock they had ready to ship. |

Just a little 2cents since i buy lots of stuff online. Most places do not stock parts anymore. When you place the order they then have to contact the supplier and the supplier ships it to you not the online retailer. If the supplier doesn't update there inventory daily or hourly the part that is said to be available might actually be out of stock. This isn't the online retailers fault. OP should have looked to see if he was charged before posting that they took his money. I always check my cc and bank statements daily and no i don't live paycheck to paycheck.
