Exclamation Paint Protection, Detailing and Clear Bra for New Whiteout Monogram

Taking deliver of a Whiteout MT Monogram shortly and would like to know everyone s' thoughts on using Nanaimo Scion British Columbia to complete the paint application and bra. Anyone from Vancouver Island get theirs done there? Should I just let them do it for convenience or wait and get it done elsewhere? If Im unhappy I can always go back and complain... is it even worth the bra? Let me know especially Canadians and 86ers from the surrounding areas.

Get a clear bra for the bumper and a full hood (not the OEM half hood). It wish I knew about this when I had my Si -almost every drive resulted in more paint chips & burnt clearcoat from acid rain/bird droppings/bug guts.

Why do people put a clear bra on the car? To keep it looking fresh when they go to sell it? Because it's going to look like shit the entire time if you put any bra on it. Much worse than small chips here and there.

How do you figure? I have clear bra on my full bumper, full hood, and full fenders and you would never know it's there. So again, why is it going to look like shit???

Getting any kind of detailing services done at the dealer is a bad idea.

If you get a clear bra for the hood, do the full instead of the half like recommended. I have the half, and while it blends in nicely sometimes, there are other times (like when dirty) where the lines are just really obvious and it's ugly.

Get the Entire Front bumper, Hood, mirrors, Fender, and quarter panels done.

Forget the clear bra. That "technology" is outdated.

Go get a proper opticoat.

This is a joke, right?

Opticoat won't protect you from rock chips.

Can a mod move this to the right section?

Seriously hope this is a joke. If not, then you have no clue what you're talking about.

My Impreza had a dealer clear bra on(not my choice) and after 10 years you still couldn't really tell it was there unless you looked for the line since it was only half coverage. The clear bra itself was extremely effective in making that portion of the hood look excellent, but the half coverage meant rock chips damaged the roof, A-pillars and annoyingly even just beyond the clear bra meaning the hood shows some chips too. When my FRS arrives its getting the full front treatment to ensure no rock chips damage the front especially since I do more highway driving than previously.
