I traded my 2013 asphalt FR-S for my monogram. I only had TRD exhaust and TRD intake on it. I got to toss her around before trading her in. A few particular curves on ramp and off ramp I take every time. After owning 2013 8 months I got use to the feel of the turns and car. I know what was the limit. When I took home my monogram which had TRD sway bars felt totally different. Better. But now I think about it sway bars could play a small factor. I also have TRD 18" alloy wheels and Mich pilot super sport tires. I'll throw the stock wheels back on and see the end results that way.

I'd actually love .75" drop.

I slammed my old GTI about 2.25" or so, and LOVED the look, hated the issues it came with. Chicagoland roads are awful, i had a hard time going up driveways, etc (including the crazy angle I had to pull into my own driveway), and the front turned into a snowplow in the wintertime.

I vowed never to drop a car with much front overhang to the point where it's annoying again. BUT, I think the stock height is a bit too tall, so if the TRD ones went up to or slightly under an inch drop? Awesome.

Those look like the same bump stops Eibach provides in their kits! I had my friend at Toyota corporate look up the FR-S TRD springs in their system and saw they were supplied by Eibach. Wonder how these compare to Pro-Kit or Sportline.

Thanks for following up! Any pics of how she sits now? And probably way too early to tell lol but how's the ride?!

If these stay under warranty, I might bite depending on how the drop looks!

so which can be had for cheaper?

what adjustments need to be made if you are just installing the springs on a stock set up?

who wanna start up a GB for this?

After reading each page, I'm a bit confused... are the trd springs permanently discontinued to where you could never stroll into a dealer and have them purchased and installed under a valid warranty? Or is this still being worked out and tbd?

That sounds much more reasonable than the 1.5" some people were talking about which based on what I've been reading, is significantly too much for the stock struts and shocks to handle.
