Well I guess we will know for sure on Thursday if this is true. I am a little disappointed in the price. You can buy a WRX for $25K. An all wheel drive turbo'd sports car that goes from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds or a BRZ. I think it is a thousand too high. If this is true this means the BRZ should start just under $26K.

It's kinda like Bush hiring terrorists to fly into the world trade center.

Buddy, it's just a badge. If this car was $23000 US and called a Pontiac Spitfire I'd buy one in a heart beat. Brand purchasing and loyalty is for the ignorant.

It's a turbo econobox with AWD added to a FWD chassis. Not to say it's a POS FWD-assist AWD system, it's just not an engineered AWD sports car like the Skyline. It's an econobox Impreza...that's been tarted up.

It only exists in the minds of forum members.

Brand loyalty is no different from cheering on a specific sport team, really.

I really don't see an issue with the price. Every rumor was approx. $25k and that's what was seemingly delivered. If anything, the pricing keeps the car away from immature wannabe drifters that were just going to wreck and drive up insurance premiums. I'm expecting my BRZ ltd. to come in around $28k, and that's less than my WRX ltd. cost so I'm good with it.

For those jumping to the Hyundai dealership, enjoy. The GC basically forces you to get the automatic because the manual trans. is absolutely awful. It generates good power, but is also significantly larger/heavier. Might as well get a mustang or 370z. The Veloster was built as a hip budget friendly economy vehicle, not as a RWD sports coupe. There's no comparison there outside of horsepower and weight. Plus, the front ends on both are pretty ugly. Just my opinion
:-P

Not a fan of ANY team sports so your point is totally lost on me. My favorite fighters are from all over the world too, I don't just cheer for the Canadians.

a little harsh on the WRX, but you definitely get the point on the difference between sports car and souped up econobox.
