I have the VooDoo in mine. I like how much it's counter-sunk. It definitely reduces the throw. Really improves switching gears without having to get a short throw kit.

Went with a Raceseng Slammer. Superb product!!! They were fantastic to do business with and even though FT86SpeedFactory was out of stock they worked quickly with Raceseng to get my product shipped to me within the week. Both companies were above fantastic, as well as the product I received.

I chose the Slammer over the Ashiko because I felt that the shape would feel more comfortable in my hand, even though I primarily side-arm shift..and the Ashiko is recommended more for side-arm shifters.

Either way, I'm extremely happy with the Slammer. I also got their Gunmetal Reverse Lockout. If you're interested and want to see some pics let me know and I'll post some ASAP.

EDIT: I have 1 picture in my build thread.

I have a flossy redhead knob in mine. My wife ordered it engraved for my last car and I've been using the same knob for almost a year and a half with no issue. She ordered it and it was at my house within 2 weeks. I can't say why some people have such issues with them but my experience was perfect.

This. 100%.

I ordered a Flossy Readhead Heavyweight shorty knob, with no engraving. Paid for standard USPS shipping.

After 3 weeks go by, I was still waiting for a shipping update. First email was "backed up with all the custom orders, sorry for the delay".

When I responded that I ordered an unengraved, plain model, I was told they still had to engrave the flossy logo on the incoming inventory. I asked if they would engrave a shift pattern on it to make up for the delay, seeing as it had to be engraved anyway. No response for 2 weeks.

I emailed back on a Tuesday with a note that if I didn't have the part in my hand by the end of the week I'd file a chargeback with AMEX and file a mail fraud complaint with the USPS.

It was delivered the next day in a crushed box with someone else's name on it - the customized knob's boxes were personalized.

Simply the worst customer service (or lack thereof) I've ever dealt with.

Stock's just fine, imo. But if you're going to do it, why not something a bit more interesting...

WC Lathewerks for me. IIRC it's just shy of 500g, and feels much smoother than the stock knob (not to mention more solid - because it literally is a solid stainless steel ball).
Although if the Raceseng Slammer was out when I was in the market, I might have gone with that.

I had a WC Lathewerks shift knob as well and definitely no complaints. Love Raceseng products and when they came out with the Slammer I had to jump on it. Now there's no way I could go back. Pictures of both in my build thread as well.

I've heard a TON about Flossy, it seems equally positive and negative - but it really comes down to your preference, both aesthetically and how you want it to feel. Don't forget if you get something and you don't like it, just sell it and try something else!

Did you have a phone number for flossy? Address? Any kind of contact info besides email?

I like the fact you can do the custom engraving with their knobs

As far as I know it's all through email. Like I said, my wife ordered it for me and she said all communication was done through email.

I love the Raceseng knob but wish it didn't have the R logo on it.
