TONS of room in a 240Z. It was designed around *American* men over 6' tall. I'm 5'10", 160 lb. and have way more headroom in a 240 vs a 350 or 370. They paid a LOT of attention to ergos in the design of the 240Z, it accommodates tallish people very well.
[edit]Oh, 50R? Yeah, 240's going to be *TIGHT* in the shoulders for sure! I'm 40R, car fits me GREAT! Less claustrophobic than the S2000 for sure. I'm not sure if you'd find the 370Z any more accommodating than the 240. I definitely feel like I have more headroom in the 240Z than in most modern cars, including the "new" Zs. Any case, the 370Z isn't *really* a modern iteration of the 240Z at all. The FR-S/BRZ will be more so than any car Nissan has put out since the 240SX. The 240Z was a purpose built, smallish/lightweightish sports car. The 370Z is the 2-seat version of a luxury sedan. Last edited by ZDan; 03-21-2012 at 12:12 PM. |

Hmmm...I feel like the only thing that's particularly wrong with the 370Z when you compare the looks is the hood looks way too high. Okay, and the goofy headlight shape. Does anyone know the details of those stupid Euro pedestrian impact safety laws? Seems like supercars get away with low hoods, is it clearance between the engine and hood?

I find these suckers way sexier than a 240Z. I think its because the 240Z doesn't look modern to me. The only thing I like more about the 240 than the 370 is the size. If the 370Z was similar in size it would look even better because sports cars tend to look better smaller IMO.

Hahaha you can still use that if you want. I think we just had a misunderstanding. I'm not that dumb to think my taste in cars is the written word.

It can be Nissans scion project. Giving consumers what they want with the 240, 510, and pickup would be a hell of a start.

I'd take the 240z in the picture that was posted earlier over the current 370z. The body of the 240z in comparison to the 370z looks so much better imo.
