I HAVE A DD PERFECT SETUP ;) (VIDEO)

Hello Everyone! here's my '13 FRS I have Borla UEL headers, Perrin overpipe, Invidia Resonated frontpipe and invidia Q300 catback ZERO DRONE YUP Zero. The power difference is felt, it has the boxer rumble when on throttle. when driving normal and even highway speeds of 70-105 i found myself forgetting i had all these parts on sound wise lol. the setup is truly perfect for a Daily driver. ALSO I HAVE HAD NO CEL LIGHT.


Note: this was the first day the q300 was installed it sounded so much more throaty after a week and no rasp. I made a second clip for fun without the axelback lol sounds EPIC, the third is OF the inside car sound

also right before i left i met up with my family in albequerque nm they traveled all the the way from cali to help me out with my dog having a home while i am gone. i was driving around with my brother and i revved my frs (with all the parts including my catback INSTALLED this was when my catback had already become superthroaty) at a stoplight i was behind a truck , a cop car at the opposite streetlight immediately turned his sirens n lights on and chased the truck.you could tell he dint know which car to choose. me being right beside the cop, perfect example of the dd setup that this is lol he didnt know which car to choose and he decided to go right with the truck and not with me lol me and my brother were laughing so hard lol LOVED IT


I had an exhaust leak (frontpipe to midpipe) i couldnt get rid of. So of ocourse instead of doubling the gaskets and using the trial an error method, I skipped it and went to WELDING THEM TOGETHER . I INSTALLED ALL THESE PARTS MYSELF (PRETTY DAM SURE NA BOXERS ARE THE EASIEST TO SWAP OUT EXHAUST PARTS SINCE EVERYTHING IS UNDER THE CAR LOL) I had a pro do the weld because i dont know how, sadly. on a good note it was only 40$ and took like 15min lol he used sus309

I have a Q300 sitting in my family room and waiting for a resonated front pipe to come in (also invidia).

What was the issue between the catback and frontpipe. Isn't it a donut gasket?

Sounds great dude!! I was thinking of a similar setup. I'll challenge your perfect DD setup with my idea of a perfect DD. Parts already on order. JDL UEL, JDL catted and resonated FP, JDL OP. HKS Legamax Sports Quad Tip. I was almost decided on the Q300 but the I saw some quad tip setups and couldn't get away from it. I'm also deployed but I'll have a video for you when I get back. Stay safe brother.

nice bro you'll love the sound. The gasket's exhaust pipe hole fit perfect but the bolt holes would not line up with the front pipe's bolt holes so I cut the outer ends of the gasket, after that i still could not get a seal so i just welded it.

HAHA! nice bro JDL headers are awesome I accept the challenge! Ill post flyby's take offs regular speed and hard launches. so ill be adding videos when i get back.

nice man yeah quad tips look awesome I actually plan to cut the tips off and add dual tips to each side lol, might not though cause the invidia tips look very clean and factory looking. Nice! you be safe to bro, how much time you got left?
