Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Beatsonic do something like this? http://www.beatsonicusa.com/qbf13.html

That's not in the same spot. Mine is mounted a bit closer to the driver alongside the head unit.

That mount might have been acceptable, but until just moments ago I was under the impression that the passenger side airbag popped out from under that cover, and I didn't want it over there where it would become a missile if the airbag deployed. Now that your post prompted me to look at the exploded view in the manual to make sure I wasn't about to say something stupid, I see that I was mistaken.

Meh. The aluminum cost $5, and it's bolted in. I'll keep mine.

Took it to work today for some maintenance and upgrades. Nameless Overpipe/Frontpipe combo, Mtech shifter springs, TIC aluminum steering rack bushings, Motul and Subaru fluids.

Only catch was I had to remove the stock header!!! Car has 1200 miles on it and one of the studs for the overpipe to header flange was cross threaded from the factory?! Broke right off when I was removing the over pipe so I had to drill it out and replace the stud.

Very bad cell phone shot of the inside of our BMW/MINI shop.

Round two of painting my rear diffuser is going a lot better, patience is definitely key. I still have a couple blemishes but I believe they'll be far less noticeable once clear coat is applied and mounted to the vehicle! I'll have pics once paint dries to the touch.

Installed my Air Lift Performance Digital V2 kit this weekend. Finished up the wiring zip ties today and calibration. Hard parked (in picture) is probably 3 - 3 1/2" lower than stock height is guess? I never measured. It's low though, haha.

Overall it was a relatively easy install. Still gotta build a false floor type setup of sorts for the compressor and manifold but it's halfway clean in the trunk right now.

The front tires are about 1/16" from the fender liner and rear tires are about 1" from them. If I removed them or got them super hot and "formed" them up further I could easily get another 1" of drop. Even then I'd still have nothing underneath touching the ground which rules.

Now to get my final heights set, all torque specs rechecked, and 4 wheel alignment on Tuesday!
