I'd love too, but still haven't heard back. Must not be Thursday yet (from last week's Tuesday). Maybe I'm supposed to be using the Mayan calendar.

Not in a rush though. I figure they'll get to me when they do. Plan on following up on Tuesday (this Tuesday, not last Tuesday when they said Thursday)

I'm 24 and 5'7" living in Los Angeles so just getting a taxi there Friday Saturday and Sunday to there. Working till 3pm all three days and they said it's ok and I'll still make it.

Family are going to japan for fam stuff but ima stay here for this event haha. I'm half Japanese/Mexican so gonna see if they can get some goods for this car over at the dealers

So after reading titusdrake's summary about his driving op in the FR-S, does anyone else think that if they don't let us have a shot behind the wheel while there for the trip, they may have a small riot on their hands?

We may have to have a SpecOps mission on this one if they don't!

I just turned 35 Sunday March 18th , feel like 23 still hahaha

This is Great!!! I am Pumped for this trip! I have followed Formula Drift here in the NW since 2006, be great to see Cali course/event and FINALLY SEE FR-S In Person, Def be great to get behind the wheel and test it out some.

Trip isn't too far away, be nice to meet all you guys!!

I am a huge car nut! Here is last few cars:
02' WRX, 350Z, 04 STi, 08' 335Xi, 09 135', 08' STi, 11'STi ( I tend to get bored and want to try something else out, my friends say I have Car A.D.D Hhaha )

If all looks/feels right, FR-S will by my Autocross car for the year to compete!

I am still in Shock , Scion is doing this for us!!

Got an update from Jeff at Beyond (this was a response to an inquiry from me). Looks like they are waiting for a response from their travel rep:

I have everything I need at this point. As soon as I have specific travel times sent back, I will forward them to you. You should be hearing back from me very soon.

We will also be sending you an itemized itinerary before the April 5th weekend.

so what do you guys think of that official unofficial $24,200?

if the first86 cars are just the first cars to roll off the line with no special perks, badges, designation, etc i will not be buying one.

I think it's cheap. I will have a difficult time convincing the wife I should buy a Cayman S instead. Thinking it would be less is unrealistic I think.
