I know, I'm saying you can fabricate your own Blitz exhaust for 3/4 the cost of it with some effort. I don't think many can justify the price of this exhaust along with the AMUSE unless you're just made of money and at that point, why the hell are you driving an FR-S/BRZ? lol. Go get a GTR!

Ok, so you add the TRD rear lip for $520 and get the Q300 for $670. After finding tips and paying a shop to modify this, you're well under the $3000 price tag. Once again, I don't see why people are paying $3000 for a Blitz logo when it's the same thing.
Just to clarify, rear lip/bumper is the rear piece with the cutout for the quad exhaust. Diffuser goes underneath the muffler directing air out of the rear. |

You could go even cheaper and just get the TRD rear garnishes for $180 with the TF works axle back for $500 and still accomplish the beefy burnt titanium tip look. I took some pictures of the setup last weekend I'll post soon. Looks great IMO and quite a lot of people at our 86 meet complimented it.

All exhausts are Nice
In a sense you get what you pay for I looked through almost every exhaust system and after Looking into Looks, style, company background etc etc etc and sound even though they are sadly just videos, I went with what i personally liked the most Yes it was a damn arm and a leg and even head you might say, I'm truly gonna be happy with it And that to me at the end of the day is what is absolutely the most important That dumb saying to each his own Is actually very accurate ![]() I'm not gonna bash on Invidia as i owned one before on my fa5 civic si And it was great! A bit drone happy but it was nice for sure But at the same time You get what you pay for saying applies like a mother F So without a doubt in my mind for a split second Blitz, Amuse, etc REAL JDM quality and even some Domestic companies Are at another level compared to all the china made stuff It is what it is! I just am still super excited! Again I'm not butt hurt at anyone's comments ![]() I'm happy to see everyone participate to begin with! |

I know where you are coming from. But another reason for the price is the cost of R&D and testing. Lots of costs are associated with that in the man hours and engineering. Of course if you just made an exact replica, you'd skip all that. You'd just pay for the materials and the labor to manufacture that.
Personally, I'd rather pay more money to the original maker who designed and did the research to get the successful product. Not the company that built the exact same one and skipped all the sweat, engineering, research and testing. If we keep buying the parts that are the copies after all that hard word of R&D, then those original companies that innovate and built the original part would have less incentive to make any other future products. I know. Contradicted my own statement. I know it would be a completely different story if I had the money to just blow on an exhaust like this, but my mindset is most people won't actually look at something that close and can cut a corner. I'm sure if I was in the OP's shoes though and had the cash, I would drop the money on the Blitz system if I REALLY wanted it.

Well first off,
HELL YES!!! I REALLY WANT IT!!! Lol Secondly the comment above is correct as well! Gotta give credit and rep the companies that actually do the hard work!!! And its ORIGINAL not a duplicate ALL companies are in it for $$$ But What separates the game is Some companies (legit) are not ONLY in it for the $ They actually have a true passion and love for it As apposed to cheap replica companies are in it for the $$$ Not that its a 10"% bad thing cause it does open the market to the people out there on that level of course I hope what I'm saying makes sense |
