Talking about the rims... Another brand that makes rims that look just like them are HRE P101 but they wont cost less
They are the ones I would get if money were not a concern lol. |

You'd think if you had that much money to spend on rims that you'd have some money for brakes too.

Always interesting to see these body kits and wheel combos..
Not a fan of rivets or that tacked on mega plastic look.. I am a big fan of the stock wheel and tire sized used on these cars.. Why Muck it up with big heavy wheels and fat tires? I guess if you're more into the looks... Or making it unique.. |

As long as that particular wing is on the car, I still don't think it was "done right". That wing looks ridiculous on an FR-S. But hey, when you are taking corners at 150mph pulling into the McDonalds drive-thru, I am sure it adds stability.

Wheel/tire weight is unsprung weight.. You can't make up for it elsewhere.
It allows the tire/wheel to recover quickly over bumps.. and easier to build momentum from a stop. Fat wheels and tires are great for big power and high limits.. But make the car feel heavy and dull during normal use.. So it's wasted on a car like this and would ruin the feel and nimbleness. Came from the corvette world where fat tires are the norm.. Necessary for big power and high grip limits.. But lousy feeling in everyday use.. Road trammel and all.. Much prefer my FRS feel and light grip in the real world.. Fat tires are Fine for show.. If that's what you're into.. |

With the rivets and gaps filled in, it at least has a bit of "nicely done" about it. Then you get to that clown-car wing. The "flatbill" of car wings.
