I have a question for your first day guys, or anyone who wants to comment on it.

Do you think that the VON is sequential by the order entry timeline.

For example, did the very first order in the system get assigned VON #218000000, and then they have been sequential from there?

I noticed my VON is around #700, and another person got around #800 recently, so I wanted to see if it was coincidence.

If you ordered really early on day 1, is your VON 2180000XX? I wonder if these will correlate to VIN sequence.

Just thinking out loud here.

I do think this is the case, but just don't have an idea of the starting number. Mine is in the mid 600's and mine was ordered on opening day.

Interesting. I wonder if 600+ were first day orders?? That seems excessive to me, but it could be possible.

I ordered on the 14th I believe, and I'm mid 700s. It seems like more than 100 would have been added in that 13 day period.

Either that, or everyone ordered on day one, and nobody has ordered since.

Last 3 digits of the VON right? My order was placed 3/1/2012 and my VON is in the low 900's...

You are 2180009XX?

I wonder if the allocations were the driving factor.

So dealer #1 gets 13, so their orders are VON 218000001- 218000013, and then the next dealer is 218000014 to however many they were allocated.

I think we are reading into this way too much. My VON number is 2000238XX.....

So if this is the case, then certain VON #s, in sequence, could be unallocated, if the dealer has yet to preorder all thier allocated cars.

VON could also be tied to region #. My region number is 50

Maybe it's the MSRP?

Anyone ordered recently that still has MSRP around 100k?
