@Td-d I reset the ECU today and took a few logs:

http://datazap.me/u/adriang/paramete...ata=2-3-4-5-25

http://datazap.me/u/adriang/paramete...ata=2-3-4-5-25

http://datazap.me/u/adriang/paramete...=2-3-4-5-13-25

I might have gotten my logs mixed up, I'm not entirely sure. The OP2 had a couple old ones that i'd neglected to delete.

Is it good or bad that I'm seeing steady zero's?

I can do another log at some point in the next few days, to see what the car has learned.

Well, seeing zeroed after a reset is a good thing - confirms that learned values are indeed being stored here. Many a couple more logs, and we can call it good - i.e. that these are the ranges.

This has reduced the difference between ambient and IAT by 50% ie I now rarely see over 9 C difference in traffic in summer and it recovers to 2 to 5 degrees quite quickly. Also removed the plastic piece on underside of bonnet on drivers side (couple of plastic clips) to let heat out at low speeds.

Will send the before/after data logs when I find them.

Thanks again.
Thanks mate.
Your IATs look similar to mine (QLD), I'm sure that much heat is not good if we can do without. How much foil did the airbox need and which plastic did you remove?

Its explained well on page post #367.

Problem is I'm down to one car right now should probably wait until my backup car is road worthy.

Great thread and this board has gotten a lot better.

Been trying ecuflash logging with mixed success

see attached files

It always produces the out file but most times no .csv log file.

occasionally/randomly it will produce log output.

Is their a trick to waiting a time after you plug in tactrix till you start car or waiting a period after car stops before unplugging.

even if I remove triggers it does not always work

on plug in get few flashes of red/blue then green flash ever second or so.

tried two different SD cards.

Finally got it working, was bad connection between Tactrix op2 and obd port pins bit of electrical solvent and all good now.

Ran a log with @ztan parameters on G series (Australian/European) ROM.

Great to finally be able to log FLCK FBCK and IAM

Thanks @ztan and @AdrianG

log will take a few seconds to load

@Td-d I did another datalog this morning for ~15 minutes, the values for the first 4 were static:

A: -1.24472
B: 0
C: -0.226659
D: 0

On this log for AF_Learning_Range_Current I see values between 0 and 800, in increments of 100 only. In my previous logs though I see increments of 20. Maybe the scalingrpn shouldn't be applied to current?

Yeah, I think it's back to the drawing board on these ones unfortunately...

Is romraider and ecuflash useable with the new factory B01C stock ROM. Its the first calib update endorsed by the OEM's for 2012 built cars so IMHO its kinda important.

Yes, B00C is already defined, B01C will likely just have calibration changes. If someone get a rom to me, I'll define.

Thanks for your support. My last car efi tuning was hondata (years ago) but I work with controls at my job.

What scares me a little with RomRaider/ECuflash is there are so few cars out there. Just a an outsider I would lay odds of us finding a car with the latest calib for manuals B01C as pretty slim, few people bother to go to the dealer to get the update and a very very small percent have a tatrix cable to pull that latest flash.

I'm trying to decide which tuning platform to invest time into. It will be a while before I start tuning or buying tunes for now I just want to stay factory updated without leaving my driveway (dealer visit for something like this is 4-6 hrs, long drive dumb dealer.).

Thanks again for your help.

You'd be surprised how quickly these roms surface! In any case, I suspect it will inherit the B00C template directly (ie same addresses, but maybe small calibration changes).

Td-d,

The dealership just flashed my FRS with B01C. I will get you the ROM as soon as I can.
