You guys are terrible. There's no point in lying to any of you as I consider developing a strong, educated, and well respected community a key to this car's longevity. There is a lot of smoke and mirrors everywhere. It's up to you to decide whether or not it is believable.

Shrug, just trying to help out. I'm all for people doing whatever they want to do with their own cars but that doesn't mean people on the forum shouldn't spread valid knowledge around that could help out others.

I was trying to determine what wasn't working, which would allow people to offer advice that would allow you to increase both the looks of your vehicle *and* it's braking performance.

My questions regarding the stock items were not to suggest that you shouldn't replace them since looks were a driver, it was just to determine which part of braking performance you are actually looking to increase.

FWIW, you don't sound like a ****, you just sound close-minded. Probably lost in translation over the internetz though.

This is why I had a problem with what Tut said. I agree, bad knowledge isn't good, neither is heresy.

Like I said, looks and better than stock performance. Simple plan.

I don't like unknowns. Fade after a few laps I would consider an unknown and I would prefer a brake system that didn't fade, or didn't fade as much. I have almost triple the horsepower at the wheels than these brakes were intended for, cause for concern. So it seems like I need to upgrade because high speed braking is a risk.

If you tell me that, because of the amount of power I have, running anything outside stock is a risk on the track because of faulty equipment otherwise, I will heed warning. Not the first time I've used different sets of equipment and had to change parts every time before events. If that's what you're suggesting.

Not really closed minded, I want what I want though, maybe that's too hard to convey in terms of input data for an experienced track guy. Everything is lost in translation on interwebs.

@Ironsquid: I want you to succeed. Let's discuss more on brakes through PM as this thread blew up into a brake setup thread vs. the Full Blown turbo thread.

I posted my opinion. You can take it or leave it. I then looked for data to back up my opinion. I asked you to provide data to counter my opinion or for you to explain your opinion as to why you are considering the Buddy Club kit. You choose not to do either, yet you choose to state your opinion about AP Racing brakes with no data other than you don't like it because your friend doesn't like it. Is that an opinion or heresy? 99% of the posts on a message forum are opinions.

Yep. @CivilXII is planning to buy one, and I am hoping to help him install it locally. Trying to guide him in his decisions of supporting mods as well.

Do you still assert that stupid clutch Russell had is a good choice?
