My neighbor has one on his FR-S. It's only loud on cold start up. Afterwards you can't really hear it that much unless he's romping on it.

Note: I have not gotten a ride in his car, yet. This is only my impression after hearing it in the mornings when he's leaving for work.

You and your neighbor both have Twins? That's so cute - do you guys like, hangout? Cookouts? Mod cars together?

Date?

Only on the weekends.

But really, I only ever see the FR-S parked in front of his house or leaving the neighborhood. I've never really spoken to him at any meaningful length.

And his FR-S is asphalt. Mine is DGM. I had mine first.

It's the noise that's bugging me. I've stopped rolling them down for now and I might take it in because spring's almost here

Like a thud click noise, when it moves from the complete up position. It might be the rubber seal but I'm not entirely sure.

The frozen mornings where it was actually frozen to it, you'll hear that separation. And occasionally I'll have to use the switch to reset it, since it sensed that it was harder than normal to move the glass. Joy of frozen temps and automatic window movements

Not that I've seen. /shrug. Don't live in frozen areas. :P

Day 1 as in FD? It's coming. The typical photo finish like most teams seam to be doing. It'll be an interesting event.

Not sure what other Day 1 you might have meant.

If it's been cold/misty/snowing outside, I'll walk up to my car, smack the window of the door that I'm about to open a few times (hard enough to knock off the snow/ice, not hard enough to break the mufugger), and then open the door. Seems to work for me.

My neighbors have looked at me weird a couple of times, but that's the price to pay for a car with "character."

Lol, it's a relationship that many are not familiar with.

On the other hand, my car felt like it was floating in the wind today
