I'm still waiting on my lower control arms, but my toe links arrived on Friday. Currently redoing the exhaust on the car so it doesn't hang so low.

So no, it hasn't been driven.. but I did start it this weekend for the first time in two months.

Mine is staying in until March 31st, because that's when my payment for the unit runs out lol. Then it will stay in my garage until mid-April.

I'd still wait a few weeks on the winter tires just to make sure you don't end up in a predicament... not that the all seasons couldn't handle it, but it's the safer bet.
I've had mine out a few times this winter normally out of necessity because I my others car is broke. Besides the horrible pot holes it's not bad driving it recently.

Has anyone stripped their interior? I'm thinking about making a custom center console like what can be found in this thread in the third picture down: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41877
The thing is, I don't want to risk messing up and being without one. So if anyone has one for cheap, let me know!

With the assistance of everyone's favorite parts installer I did a trans bushing and turn in concepts steering rack bushings today. I can't recommend the steering bushings enough. The already great steering is just sublime now.

I've been thinking about it but we are supposed to get another 6in of snow later this week. Good old michigan gives you a taste of warm weather then crushes your dreams.

Come on people, just throw some winter tires on your cars and enjoy. Driving to work this morning was a blast!

I'd prefer to not have by BRZ start showing considerable surface rust on painted surfaces 14 months after purchase like my last WRX did.

I get it. I'm sure the BRZ is a riot to drive. My last Impreza coupe was RWD, and I certainly had fun driving that during the winter. Main difference is that I intend to keep the BRZ for a very long time, and to me it's quite the expensive purchase, so I'd hate to have the car looking like trash before I'm finished paying on the loan.

Besides, I really don't mind the drama-free driving that my Impreza with Hakkapeliita tires provides me.
