Those LED strips don't look very bright though actually. But they still look pretty cool. Nice car you have there with that front mount there :p

well... seeing that you live in Oregon and knowing that it probably rain there quite a bit, I don't see why its not inspiration enough! I mean I like knowing that I put the effort into waxing/polishing my car and definitely seeing the results, but knowing that I can get pretty close to the shine with half or even less than half the effort with a foam bath, light scrub and rinse did it for me. Also an additional clear coat makes me think that its going to just be extra protection for the long run. overall it was a lot of work doing it myself but I hope to reap the efforts when I don't have to put as much effort to get my car looking good with the whole clay, compound, polish process ever month or so!

Oh.. Looked like they were or maybe I was just tired from school... Just realised it was just the flash from his phone reflecting off those strips. #dumbmoment lol *that heapboop emoji that I don't know how to put in here*

I've hit rubber at 70mph before and luckily nothing happen exempt a scuff mark which came off with a wash.

The ends near the front tires required some engineering to increase strength in the mounting. the small white-ish scuffs and micro-scratches on the end are no big deal and I will probably paint it at some time in the future. Used 3M double faced tape between the lip and the bumper cover.

For those of you planning on doing the same thing, here's a small tip (lesson learned on my part) do not cover the screw holes in the lip with the double-sided tape as when you drive the screws through it, it will grab the screw and spin it into a small lump, keeping the lip from fitting as flush as it can to the bumper cover. Hit it with some Adams VRT when finished and it looks pretty good.

There was no screw hole here so I added one to hold the end tight to the bumper cover.

The ends were the only place where I had 'fitment' issues as you can see by the nylon spacers.
Did you only get screws? Most lip include only screws, wouldn't nuts and bolts work better in a situation like this?

The pics were with the lights off because with the lights on they are so bright you can tell what they look like see below.

Screws only, plus I added Scotch Extreme double face tape. I don't think it's going anywhere. Screws with nuts and washers would be more secure, but then you will have to drop the small front under-panel to get your hand to the backside of the bumper cover to hold the nuts. I ran the screws in with a cordless drill and then did the final tightening with a screwdriver.

Nuts/bolts would be more secure. But...it'll be a bad day if you catch the lip on something and tear the whole bumper cover off because the bolts are stronger than the plastic clips.

Ideally, you want the lip to break away with as little damage as possible to the rest of the car.

It hit on the front bumper lip edge, so it pushed part of it in, thus why so many fender liner clips popped out and broke it partly free.

I was able to push the dent back in, but it looks ugly. Paint cracking around the edge that was caved in, scuff marks, and damage to the plastic's edge. It'll need an auto body paint shop to do the visible repair, that is, cleaning, sanding, paint matching/blending.

I'm going to try and contact some paint shops around Phoenix to get quotes on the work. I can't really afford for them to have the car for more than a day, really. I don't think it should take more than that, though. I also don't want to exactly be driving a DD with no front bumper fascia while they have it sitting in their work queue.

Dropped it off to have the lip kit installed. Normally I wouldn't even bother posting my anxiousness, but... I'M ANXIOUS! Hopefully there are no snags like with most things that involve modification. I watched my buddy drive away with my car to take it to the shop. Oh MY is that thing sexy!
