Anyways, here's the meat and potatoes of this post
My husband was just talking to me last night about doing this. Kudos to you for trying to be unique! I just don't think I could get past the red stitching, black interior and the wood vinyl not matching. haha I'm weird like that though.

I wonder how a darker wood, or maybe a black/gray wood pattern would look.

I'd be interested in seeing a black/gray type pattern!

Sounds like a bunch of lazy ass cops to me. If they have them on video actually damaging the car, then the cops just don't want to do their job. Know a lawyer? Get him to view the video and if they did damage your car have him call the cops or better yet, write a nice juicy 'letter to the editor' of your local newspaper and rip them a new one.

@Kiske, love the GTR spoiler mod. Hate to hear this happened.

But curious... do you think these kids maliciously damaged your car, or just being dumb kids, one of them leaned on it and it caused the damage? Do you think your spoiler design was more prone to accidental damage of this kind than an OEM spoiler?

Really sucks, man.

ACTUALLY, because of how the earth works, generally, when one place is too cold then another place is too warm. There's always a transfer of energy, where there's concentration in one area it pulls from another area (like a vacuum). Lower 48 has been getting slammed with snow and ice storms all winter from what I've seen and Alaska has been getting multiple Spring breakups. It finally dropped to freezing temps for a couple of days last week, otherwise it was floating between mid-30's to low-40's these last few months.

Thanks to everyone in the Lower 48 for allowing Alaska to have a break!

I especially like the poor lack of detail of the cheap vinyl hanging out off the sides.

I was kind of going for the old british sports car look.

And I'm 22... shocking after seeing that i chose to wrap my dash in wood. Im not sure if I'm sold on it or not.

But I was walkin thru wally world and they had the wood grain contact paper for 5 bucks for a 18"x48 ft roll of it so for $5 it was worth giving a shot!

Well see how i feel about it after a few days, if i dont like it i think I'm gonna play it safe and wrap it in black brushed aluminum. I just cant stand the silver paint.

I thought about using the 3m ebony wood but this was $5 and instant gratification if i liked it.

And what in the sam hell is slenderman?

As previously stated, it was more of a "test run" than anything. The cheap crappy contact paper was $5 for a 48 ft roll so i figured I'd give it a shot. Instead of spending $40 for woodgrain dinoc and waiting a week all to find out that I dont care for it. Not a permanent solution.
