Well, it's just a possibility up to now. I'd rather get the Monogram because it'll be easier for me down the road for my summer plans + I don't want to have to buy a BRZ just to swap out the bumper.

I have yet to go to a Subaru dealer to hash out a price yet though. So we'll see.
On top of it all, I like the service I'm getting at the Toyota dealership I'm dealing with right now... I'm a sucker for good service.

Hey up to you I was just wondering since I had the same dilemma but for me price was a big factor !

GT6 Enduro this week

Okay Guys,

Apricot Hill in the Rocket for the Enduro on Wednesday night. 22 laps, No Boost!

The only problem is the Rocket is too damn easy on the tires, so it can go full distance on 1 set of tires. Either we do no pitstop or we force one.

So to keep it interesting, we will do a tire change.
You can start on either Race Medium or Race Hard, but you will need to pit at one point during the race to switch to the other compound, just like in F1.

Race settings:
  • Apricot Hill Forward
  • 22 laps
  • Light Car Co. - Rocket
  • Boost - off
  • Tire/Fuel Wear - Very fast
  • Slipstream - weak
  • Penalty - weak
  • Require Tire Type Change
  • Max PP - 563
  • Tuning - prohibited
  • Max Tire - Race Medium

Question/advices needed from you guys. As some of you might have seen a couple posts ago, I purchased a BRZ and I'm taking delivery on the 22nd of march. Today, I went and spent some time with her at the dealership (call me crazy) and I noticed something... The car currently has 128 km. Now let me state that this is my first brand new car and although I understand it is more than acceptable to have some mileage on it, I feel like 128 is a lot (I had hoped to break the 100km myself and also to do Motoman hard engine breaking for the piston rings which seems to stae that first 50 miles are crucial). One more thing is that I remember the salesman at Otto's mentioning (when I inquired) that by new car we meant under 100 km and my salesman (at Subaru Outaouais) even said under 60 km (I don't have written proof but after contacting OPC wondering if there was a law regarding new/demo car that a said statement was as debatable as a written one). I know the car was delivered (not driven) from Montreal as I was lucky enough to cross it (and immediately follow it to the dealership) on the road. I'd just like some advice i.e. am I freaking out, should I ask for compensation or what.... Please don't call me stupid, I'm 19 and no life experience.

I think it should be written in your contract somewhere that km's cannot exceed 250 or something like that. You can always request another car, I'm sure. My friend did that for his STi, ended up getting a demo car for cheaper.

Honestly, in the long run I don't think it makes that much of a difference. But I do feel your pain.

Somebody isn't sleeping!

I know its nothing at all in the long run, I'll probably triple that amount on the first day, but it's MY new car... Ya know... Could haves saved 1000$ on a 1000km one, which is the long run is nothing... But I decided to buy it new !!

You ain't sleeping either hehe!

Edit: The problem requesting a new car is that they had the first one delivered from Mtl free of charge.. Don't know if they do that twice

Yeah, I get that. I saw a thread on here somewhere about that same issue. Some guy (from the States) was basically told that he's SOL because anything under 250 miles was fair game for a new car.

Ask them if it was a demo car when it was in Montreal. Maybe that can be a bargaining chip. I wouldn't hold my breath, though!

Yeah. It's midterm season so I don't sleep a whole lot
