Good to hear. It is absolutely necessary to update the template file with the new Enhanced Data logging update. Without it, the OFT will give you an error if you try to log data.

Many thanks to @Drofnum who gave me the idea of re-doing my template update file. I discarded the new template file that I had downloaded several days ago. I re-downloaded the new template file again. I reppplied the "Upgrade" to the OFT.
Now I am able to data log 8 original parameters plus Oil Temp, AFR Comanded, Coolant T, and Ambient Temp. It works fine now. This brings to mind two things that would really be useful to the OFT user population. First and most important: we desperately need an MD5 checksum for EVERY download. Second, it would be much handier if our selection of the 12 parameters that WE want to data log was a 'sticky' selection and we didn't have to do it each time we wanted to data log. |

It should be "sticky", but it resets after an update, at least that's what I've found.
I'm going to try re downloading and updating the template to see if that helps at all. I've re uploaded it to the tablet, but I haven't tried downloading a fresh copy off the site.

^^ When you plug it in do you see it do a full updated every time? Mine didn't used to do that, but now it does and every since then I haven't been able to pull logs off it.
There seems to be a couple common things happening to those with issues pulling logs, and one of them is it updating every time it's connected to OFM with internet.

@shiv@vishnu, not sure if you saw my earlier offer, but if you need someone to run OFM through a debugging environment while pulling logs to see what exactly is crapping out I can help with that.

Tried to pull some a new log off the tablet today, still no luck.
Updated OFM to a freshly downloaded 1.07 again, re-updated the template from a freshly downloaded copy again, took a log with the default 12 channels and it still crashes OFM when trying to download the log. I'm also getting the IAM dropping quite a lot in daily driving (~0.5-0.7) running 1.56b stage 1, so I'd love to pull the logs to see why.

Hi @wparsons, I had same issue IAM dropping in daily non-spirited driving in 1500-3200 rpm range dropping IAM. Was fine during more spirited driving. (1.5 stage 1) Logs showed FBCK in that RPM range quite often ranging from -0.67 to -2.3 As per "tip in knock on turbo" thread pulled 0.35 from a few rpm/load cells in "Ignition max A" and much improved FBCK and no FLCK (using Tactrix to log as well) much less often and less severity only -.03 or -0.67. Have not had my IAM drop since. Just looked over latest logs and IAM =1 I am sure the stock tune was worse but didn't have logging to check back then
