Ahh, nice... I actually have a spare grimmspeed tow hook mount (for a WRX) I was going to get rid of.

Oddly, it seems like there was more gravel than the last time we hit that road

I like the DIY GoPro mount. May try to do one similar.

It was a fun day of camaraderie and people helping others. To that end, Max (I forgot your forum handle) I still have your USB adapter and I will get it back to you at the SouthBay meet this week. I think @V1B still has one of my two-way radios too but we don't have a long drive coming up soon.

Tearing through 130 towards Mt. Hamilton really showed how loose the back-end of my car is. It was a handful trying to keep up with the BRZs. Thank goodness the wife wasn't with me. I would probably need a new passenger seat and a cast to set a broken arm from her punching me to slow down

I was almost gonna sit as passenger with either Rollan or Garland cos I wasn't feeling too well... then i realize i might be sicker as passenger than driver so i just drove. think it was much better cos I actually feel better after driving

Did you have the GoPro running for the 130 run? I definitely over drove a few corners while in front of you. I had Sport mode on and I am not a fan, but wasn't comfortable running nothing. I'll have to keep doing AutoX to get more comfortable with it.

I had both the GoPro and the Lap Timer running. Unfortunately, I didn't have the foresight to mount the GoPro in a better location. My side mirror is smack dab in the middle of the screen with my ugly mug in it . Other than that, it is fine. Between the two, I got about 5 hours of footage to chop through. And, I usually capture my Lap Timer at 720p to take up less room but I mistakenly captured all of it at 1080p. This meant that I couldn't put any telemetry from the 130 run on it (not enough memory). But, I plan on splicing it all together to make a video of the run. It will have to wait until tomorrow as today is my anniversary with my better half and we have nice sunset in the plans for the evening.

I was also in sport mode and am kinda grateful for it. While the ZIIs are sticky they have a smaller threshold than the stock tires and aren't as progressive when they start slipping. They tended to chatter while going around some of the bumpier corners and it was jarring the whole car.

My valenti reverse light arrived on Sat morning, and I decided to swap it as fast as possible so I can "show off" a bit when I arrive to the meet.
Turns out much harder than what's shown on youtube and DIY posts and I screwed things up.
Took me hella lot of time to finally make it working.
I'm gonna stay away from wiring for the rest of my life.
