With this new weather I'm sure you guys are waking the beasts haha. Anyone know of any local places that sell good quality colored lug nuts? Preferably closed ended.

Local? Nope - I was hunting all over.

JRP does sell closed ended muteki lugs (as well as the SR48 open ended style) they range in price between 60-80 for typical colours (between both styles) and then your shipping and taxes. If you get the neochrome colours you will be looking to spend more money.

Maybe Em-Power (is that his name...it has been a while, has a sweet cat logo for a DP) from Saskatoon sells them?

Edit now that I understand how easy it is to embed videos from youtube onto here (really..took me 1 minute to look it up, but still) I think I will post more videos. Between the YouTube Capture application and everyone loving to share their own cars, I think we should all try our best to document our beauties.

On another note, I cannot believe how many tail light options there are for our cars..just wow!

I snapped one of these up also. I justified the purchase as a "safety" upgrade, lol. That being said it completely eliminates the glare that used to reflect off the stock plastic piece onto the windshield when driving into the sun.

Guess i'm gonna try some Muteki lugs, never went aftermarket with lugs but why not add some colour since everything on my car is black hah.

Do you guys have any experience with open ended? just dont want em to rust, although you'd think companies would treat their metal to an anti-rust standard

I went open ended because I like the look, but mine will be summer only.

Muteki lugs are a spray on colour, so I would be careful - hand tools and all - as long as you try your best to protect the coating - you should stay rust free

what colour did you go? GOOOOLLD?

I had to take a day to think about it, I thought the purple was kinda unique and not too flagrant, I can't decide! Gold looks so high class though

What brand did you go @SkAsphalt

I found a ebay company that ships from Ontario, they look the exact same as muteki SR48's. I grabbed gunmetal open ended. If I had dark rims, I would have went with gold for sure. Looks amazing.

My brakes are green already! I could be friends with that ferrari!!

What do you guys think of the SuperTek intake tube instead of an intake system? Sounds like a nice way for improved flow while keeping the stock box

Yes definitely a better option verses aftermarket intake. Also replace your stock panel filter with a hi flow filter
