I think that most gas stations don't even know what side markers are and how they are supposed to work. Don't take my word for it. Give it a shot and carry around amber bulbs if a gas station inspector said that they are illegal. Also side marker bulbs are super easy to replace.

Hey just a question, for Virginia laws.. It says we aren't suppose to have more than 4 lights turned on at a given time...
But.. At night.. Low beam = 2 lights Turn signal = 2 lights Fog Lights = 2 Lights o_o |
