I got the same thing, you need to do the configuration (next button down) before you can do the realtime data display.

Go to configure data channel selection and then back to realtime data. You need to initialize the channels before they can start logging. Only the first time after updating firmware. After that you're good to go.

Oh, well, will it have any problem if used on FA20?

Anyone else noticing that it updates every time you connect it to a computer now? I've had it download the same update 4 times today.

I also can't seem to pull a log file off the tablet without freezing open flash manager. It gets to 100% in the pop up dialog, but when that goes away the main window freezes and never comes back.

It's a pretty big log (~25 minutes), but I imagine that shouldn't be an issue.

Make sure you are running the new OpenFlash Manager (v1.07). It has to be updated along with the new firmware. It is available for download on our website.

@shiv@vishnu please give me a suggestion on retrieving data. Car is very happily running along with Stage 1 1.55

I first updated my Win7 Pro 32-bit laptop to OFM 1.07. I then connected OFT and it did FM 1.23 update. I updated template. I took OFT to car. Selection of parameters to log worked fine (excluding fat fingers and insensitive screen). I went thru all the procedure to run a short log and all appeared (on OFT) to work just fine. Both types of display work fine with selected parameters.

I returned to laptop and connected. OFM will easily read all the info for upload/download of tune files. When I switch to 'data logging' all looks OK. I click on read; it briefly shows the usual dialog and says it is reading. At that point, Win7 shows that the program is not responding and I don't get anything else. I have to quit. What should I try next?

I have one other report of such a thing. Which his strange because many people, including myself, have been able to successfully pull datalog files of their OFT with the new firmware update. Could you tell me the list of channels that you were datalogging? I'll try to recreate the issue here. Perhaps there is one particular channel, when selected, that is causing the issue. Will be easy to solve once I collect more data.

We have been out of stock for several days now. And the stock we were hoping to receive today due to weather-induced delays in shipment. As soon as they get here, all pending orders will be filled. I hate giving specific ETAs but they should be here any day now.

You gave me an idea to work with. I set the OFT to data log the original 12 parameters and it worked well. I also verified same performance with a second computer.

I then set the OFT to data log 8 of the original 12 parameters (omitting VVT intake & exhaust and ST/LT Fuel trim. It failed to download/display.

I then set the OFT to data log 8 of the originals (as above) plus ambient temp and coolant temp (todal of 10). Again it failed to download/display.

I went back to data log the original 12 and all worked well.

^^ are you also having the tablet update everytime you connect it to a computer (with internet)? I'm having the same issue, and mine keeps updating (to the same version) every time I connect it to open flash manager.

I suspect maybe the update was partially unsuccessful on the tablet, and it isn't playing nice with OFM?
