Thank you shiv. I don't know why you never got the first 2 emails I have been having a few issues with my account recently. I am running the borla uel header and the perrin header back exhaust. I would assume the tune should be acceptable until you unlock the file and I can have it dialed in remotely. I will do a datalog as soon as I install the supercharger.

hello, juste to be sure before doing something.
i juste receive my hks catless EL header and HKS hiflow sport cat front pipe. it seems that the o2 sensor move to after the sport cat on the front pipe. can i use the stage 2 for el with this configuration. or the stage 2 is for afr sensor and o2 sensore on the header alone. thanks |

Others have used an o2 sensor wire extension for the post secondary O2 sensor, then there was no need to program out the secondary O2 cat check. Its a smart way to do things that I wish the American companies would have caught on. You can still use stage 2 but I would turn the cat check logic back on.

Sorry don't know that software yet. But the stage 2 should default to off. Even with the first O2 sensor in the header and the second O2 sensor after the front pipe cat you are getting an O2 CEL? Sure you are resetting it correctly? If that doesn't work try unhooking the second 02 sensor, he may have programmed for this since it is so common in the USA (unfortunately.) As far as the MAF discussion when bosche efi was first emerging for German cars they wrote a little paper as t why MAF is better than speed density. Should have saved it but back when BMW's were reliable they used nothing but MAF,

Sorry, but I'm a complete noob and I have a quick question.. Does OFT supports the same features as the RaceRom from Ecutek (pretty sure OFT supports launch control, just not sure about rev matching downshifts) ?

OFT has LC Launch Control FFS Flat foot shifting does not have Auto Blip on downshift To activate LC & FFS you need to use RomRaider and edit the LC and FFS paramaters then re-flash the modified ROM to car. LC is kind of ok Would not worry about FFS or even Blip on downshift (if it was supported) those two features cause more issues than they solve. |

to remove the second o2 sensor CEL activation you need to open you tune file in Romraider, find the DTC (diagnostic trouble codes) table find the second o2 sensor then turn it off. Save tune and reflash tune to car.

Hi @shiv@vishnu
Been doing a bit off logging with updated parameters . noticed my IAM drops occasionally to 0.9. Checked the Knock correction and got a small correction sometime before IAM drops . was this the cause or what happen at the exact time the IAM drops, I am going for that as I see a drop in the KC learned at same time. Why don't I see "Knock correction at that point ?? and do I need to be concerned with the "Knock correction spikes or just when the IAM drops ?? see log below I assume I would pull a bit of timing at 3000rpm engine load =1 point http://datazap.me/u/steve99/knock-co...=0&data=1-7-10 |
