cam bolts

Just have camber questions. My 18x8.75 +35 XXR 527 hyper silver wheels, Eibach Pro Kit, hub centrics, and lugs are in my living room cussing me out for not installing them yet. I ordered +/- 1.75 range cam bolts for the front, but they were backordered. I've been waiting to install everything at one time. Is my cam bolt range selection enough or should I get some with a wider range? Secondly, with the Eibach Pro Kit installed, will I need control arms on the rear to adjust camber? Tires only last me me about 12k miles anyway, because I drive my dd car like someone is chasing me. I dont want to go through extra tire wear because of unnecessary camber, since I'm not taking it on the track.

The bolts for the front will give you all the street camber adjustment you need. The rear has no camber adjustment from the factory at all. I was at -2.1 and -2.5 in the rear with my sportlines which is why I wanted to get the control arms to get something a little more streetable.

cam bolts

Thanks! I appreciate the help. I guess I'll see what the camber is after lowering the inch to see whether control arms are necessary. I have hoped that maybe with such a small drop that the camber would still be pretty close to factory spec.

Someone please help me! Looking to buy XXR 530 Chromium Black but I don't like the front poke you get with 18x8.75 +33.
Are there any pictures of someone with 18x7.5 +38 front and 18x8.75 +33 rear?
I've gone through 40 pages of this thread so far and I still haven't seen anyone with a staggered setup.

Front camber will make the 8.75 +33 flush FYI. I haven't seen anyone post a staggered setup with the 530's. I don't love staggered setups personally, but it would probably work just fine.

I think this is my fav blue car setup yet... However I can't help but wonder how amazing your blacked out badges would be if they were dark bronze to match those bomb wheels!

Figured I would try something a little different with the wheel caps

Chrome lugs
Chrome center caps
55mm custom 86 center cap sticker

Pardon the dirt. I just got my wheels out of storage.

Sorry, I'm a noob when it comes to camber. Are you talking about having the wheel tilted/slanted inward so that it appears flush with the fender instead is poking out a few mm?
Is it okay to drive like that, or will I see uneven tire wear?

No problem Yeah camber is how much the wheel is tilted inward - stock our cars don't have any adjustability with this. You have it right though, you can get adjustable camber bolts (the bolts with cams on them) and adjust the camber (tilt) so the wheels tilt inside and the top of the tire sits flush with the top of the fender and give you a nice aggressive look. Assuming your car is aligned properly by a good shop after lowering and adjusting camber, running the camber you'll need (-1.3 to -2 degrees) won't make a big difference in tire wear. Toe changes from lowering are the biggest culprit to tire wear, and should be dealt with once you get your car aligned. A terrific benefit from a mild increase in camber is your front end will bite/feel better in turns. Anyway try adjustable camber bolts and see if you can get enough camber with them - if you need more than that you'll have to go with something else like camber plates.
