Ok guys, I just joined because after months of reading and following this thread, I just had to say something...
YYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! phew....feels good I like the FR-S name, sounds very much like the Mr2 and Mr-s names. Any good sports car (aside from supra and a few others) have a simple name like this (300xz, s2000, rx-7, gti, gtr, etc.) I'm very proud of toyota for not screwing up this name like they have with other thing, such as not having a real sports car for almost 20 years! |

the mr-s is hardly a sports car (sw20 on the other hand is)
i have a question for everyone interested. is it me or do car companies have good and bad decades. i mean 70's cars were GREAT, inovative, fast etc. then 80s cars were good but not great like the 70s cars. then 90s came and blew the 80s and 70s away. then the 00's came and most cars that came out were lame. all followed the same design cues, all had mediocre power (apart from the cars that continued from the 90's such as the sti, evo or gtr, even then in my personal taste evo 7-9 was a complete miss. 6 and 6.5 is the best, x is good cus its new but its still got nothing on the 6) and now that the new decade is beggining we can see all car makers having new sporty designs again. apart from this great toyotas design, the awesome FR-S, nissan is supposedly coming out with a s16 (or something along thos lines) mazda is finaly reberthing a new turbo rotary, subaru will share the same fortune as the toyota, honda will have a few aces up their sleeves i read about somewhere(will not be a NSX but.. whatever!) hyundai will get a RWD tiburon, and suprisingly KIA of all makers is coming out with a KEE (not that kia is known for their sports cars, but the cerato koup was still better than most other cars that came out the same year) that is just what i have noticed. correct me if u think im wrong, flame me if u want i dont care (im sure ppl will, this is my opinion and not necceseraly anyone elses) but as nate89 said FR-S is a simple name for a extraordinary car, much like all the other great sports cars |

Fucking Raunchy Sex in my FRS...or Fondling Robust Sluts in my FRS.. ..yep definitely could work. I see that they have a current trend with their sports production lines. IS-F, LF-A, FR-S,

lol don't have a cow man, I was just saying...
The MR-S is the very definition of a sports car. It might not be a fast one, but the experience, dynamics and handling are all sport. If you want a healthy heaping of HP to go with that, well, those things are generally called super cars. I'll slap the next person that tries to insinuate that the MR-S is not a sports car. And the words "super car" and "affordable" don't do together unless the phrase "is not" is in between them. You have any idea what the MkIV Supra cost new? About $75k in today's money. That is not affordable for the average person. |
