It may drive nice, but I don't care if it had a jet engine strapped to the back, the car looks like shit, especially the front...IMO

Even if were as good overall as the FR-S (which I sincerely doubt) it's going to cost about 10k CAD more than the FR-S...

Got to the show today and saw the BRZ. Got to say love the car! Also, even more importantly, She Who Must Be Obeyed loved the car.

The Booth Dude at Scion was pretty excited when he found out I was one of the First 86. He even gave us a couple of "special" Scion ski caps they had hidden away.

I didn't get to sit in the BRZ, but did get a good look at it, including the trunk area (pretty good size even with the seats up considering the size of the car). The car itself was exactly the size I thought it would be which is perfect.

I've got to say though, I really wasn't crazy about the color (see photos above). It made it look a little too 2 dimensional to me. To me, the photos make the color look better than it did in person. Then again, I never have been a big fan of silver/gray colors on a car.

Really got my fingers crossed we get to get up close and personal with one in SoCal!

Silver really is boring, especially now with every 2nd car on the road being that colour. But it does have one thing going for it: I haven't washed my car in weeks and until you are within 4 or 5 feet of it, it's hard to tell how dirty it is.

Oh and I accidently started the car on the tradeshow floor...had my foot on the brake when I pressed push to start..oops!

The interior feel/quality and drivers riding position is simply fantastic. I have zero regrets in pre-ordering this car site unseen.

BTW I got to meet SUB-FT86 and got him in a the car with me....and a surprise for ZAKU. The car is flat out AWESOME!!!!!!!!
(sorry for the large pics..taken with my phone)
When sitting in the driver's seat, how did it feel in the shoulders? I have broad shoulders, and you look pretty broad also. I tried to sit in a rx8 and I couldn't fit in the seat. My back couldn't touch the back rest. Due to the sides stop my shoulders from going back. My friend sat in the rx 8 and his shoulders were stuck in the seat. I'm hoping this is not the case for the FRS. A scion dealer said after the production prototypes were shown they went back and made the seats wider.
Thanks Dave
