Let me amend what I said earlier. I tend to park away from the front, not only because it's usually less crowded there, but because I like to stretch my legs and get in some walking whenever I can--I sit in front of a computer 8 hours a day for a living. But I don't typically park way, way, way away from everyone else, as that does draw attention.
And remember, we are talking about $25-30K cars. If I was driving a Ferrari, maybe I'd be more tempted to double-park. But I'd probably just use valet, and wouldn't be shopping at Target. :-) -Z |

In South Florida, double parking does nothing and cars will literally try to squeeze into the spaces that you double parked in. I'd argue and say that double parking here is probably worse than just parking normally next to two cars. lol

the thing about double parking is its never a good idea to do it.
1. if there's plenty of parking spots that it won't take up unnecessary spots, then you can park far away from other people. 2. if there aren't enough spots, then youre just inviting someone to vandalize your car. |

I doubled park at work because I own the lot lol.. but if I park at a shopping place I always park in the back lol.. double parking in a shopping place will just tick people off..
Why double park close to the store when people are pushing carts around and might door ding you.. put you car safety at first lol.. plus a good little long walk is good for you |

Hardly doubt it... my car's front bumper is full of rock chips already... Also, I did this today ![]() See that... perfectly parked besides another car, and it was also the closest parking spot I could find. |
