The big question and the reason the BRZ/FRS diehards are ragging on the Genesis: Did it feel heavy driving around? Was it easy to toss into corners in your test drive?

Really. Exactly where did you get that ridiculous number?
Doesn't seem too far fetched to me. Road and Track tested my Legacy GT spec. B and they got a 5.1 second 0-60 and it only has 250 hp and almost 3,500 lbs. All depends on gearing. The legacy's 5 speed has a tall 2nd that means you don't need 3rd to hit 60.

under normal circumstances the Genesis would destroy Brz... But if we were racing downhill on Mt. Akina, the brz has a chance with it's 3 wheel drifto and imaginary lines...

It could've been a 4000rpm clutch dump with a Quick AWD grab. BTW, I LOVE the Spec B's, i respect you.

With that hp and weight, i think 5.8 seconds is more likely than a 4.8.

AND LOL Indestruct...Love the Initial D Reference

were you allowed to? should be the real question

I don't really like the GC but I hear it looks better in person and I hated the 370z when I 1st saw pics but in person I thought it was great so who knows I plan to check out a 2013 gc and test drive it right before my frs test drive

fancisx, please search before posting. Not only is this the wrong subforum, but a GC thread already exists.

Since the odds that you'll contribute anything useful to this site are approximately nil, welcome to my ignore list.

First post in the forum and hope I am making a valid complain, after waking up at 6 every morning for the past week waiting for a BRZ price.

Came across this just now in auto week:

$23,100
2.0L 274 hp, 275 lb-ft turbocharged I4
RWD
3,362 lb
0 - 60 MPH: 4.8 sec
Fuel economy 24 MPG
LED headlights and taillights.

Guess what car is it? Genesis coupe 2.0.

If the BRZ price come sooner I may not have more second thought but after putting down my deposit and waited so long, it's giving me a lot of 2nd thoughts.
Then go buy that ugly 2013 Genesis coupe! I saw this guy make a left turn at a light while punching it, the car leaned like it was a sailboat and it also sounded like crap.

Some people just don't get it about the GT86/FR-S or BRZ. It is a true concept car. There are reasons why it is, the way it is. Mr. Toyoda and Tada San know about cars, and they had certain concepts and criteria that this car was going to be about. If you don't like these concepts, go buy something else.

I'm waiting for my FR-S!!
