Diggitydog89 - We are running V8 Roots style supercharger becuase it provides great reliable liniar torque. Perfect for drifting. We are not necessarily looking for the highest hp #s but what we are looking for is the highest torque throughout the entire rev range. That is what V8 SC provides. Almost max torque at 2k is freakin awesome!

BRZZEE - We are running the Supra differential with the Tomei Technical Advance Trax differential that is just aweomse!

Ryaquinn - We are running a prototype FIGS Engineering Pro Angle kit for the FRS/BRZ. We are collaborating with Mike @ FIGS to make this a track tested setup. As of right now I don't believe he has a page up on his sight. However, I am most certain he will be releasing more information as soon as it becomes available.

Joe

FIGS Engineering ProAngle kit installed! All we had at the time were are rear tires and wheels so they may appear a little big.

Yea ive been watching alot of formula drift and alot of people are converting to V8 for that torque. I still do see some die hards running Boosted 2jzs and being successfull but I guess its different strokes for different folks.

@JoeDrifter

Nice meeting you yesterday! Shame you didn't have more time to chat.

BTW, I've actually been up to Cutworm's shop quite a few times. I love their steampunk style ratrods.

No kidding Ryaquinn, here come the updates!

Things are going crazy fast now and the season is well underway for the teams! Thanks to IronSquid for hooking us up on the FRS hood! We needed it!

Now for some visual FRS eye candy! Special thanks to our sponsors Buddy Club USA for supporting us racers!

So Ron Ewerth and myself are here today at Cutworm Specialties with which is where we get most of our fabrication work done. Ron is the owner of Vision Performance and will be piloting this Scion FRS for the 2014 Formula Drift series. More on that in a minute.

Our Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers and BBK's have arrived and in one word, AWESOME!

Check out the Buddy Club Racing Spec damper! In this first photo you will really see what sets Buddy Club's dampers apart from other manufacturers. Look at the size of the main tube! The massive shock tube diameter, fully threaded shock housing and fully drilled and threaded spindle mounts allow for infinite adjustability.

Joe Vick - More to come!

Brzzee, I will get specs shortly!

The Buddy Club fixed mounted monoblock calibers are very special! Most calipers in this world are cast or machined in two pieces and bolted together and are sliding in nature. However, the Buddy Club Monoblock Calipers are machined from one piece and are fix mounted. What does this mean? Less caliper flex due to outstanding stiffness, less rotor deflection and fewer seals to leak. This all equates to unbelievable stopping power! Buddy Club gives you several options as follows:

Fronts
4 Pistons 1 & 2 piece rotor options
6 Pistons 2 piece rotor options

Rears
2 Pistons 1 & 2 piece rotor options
4 Pistons 1 & 2 piece rotor options

Specifics on rotor diameters to follow. . .

Notice how the calipers are 1 piece with the crossover bridge for added strength. When talking high performance both on and off the track the Buddy Club BBK for the Scion FRS is what you want!

Those are pretty nice, are these in production now for consumer purchase or race team only? I'm actually wanting to get this exact setup with the rotors you have there.
