I eventually plan on going FI, for 3k you can get a forged block from FBM, and for 5.1k you can get a twin scroll turbo kit from JDL that makes 400+ whp with 16psi, e85 and a custom tune.

Tested some tire wear tonight, could be fun. Will set it to Fast for the Enduro and everyone will have to pit once during the race, same tire though. No mandatory pitstop but you probably won't make it all the way if you don't.

Even though you could do the whole 12 laps on 1 set on "Normal" wear, by the end of the race the tires are down to 5 or 4. And if someone is harder on the tires (i.e. not smooth), then you could be down to 2 with almost no grip left.
With tire wear set to "Fast", then you can do about 10 laps before it hits 2, but those last few laps are about 10 secs slower than the fastest.
So introducing a tire change helps, even with tire wear on fast. You get about 2 optimum laps, and up to 8 "useable" laps before the tire grip falls off the cliff.

Now if you're stuck behind someone, instead of dive-bombing or trying for a risky pass, you have the option of pitting earlier or later for an advantage.

To pit simply simply drive-in and you will given your tire options (select Race Medium) and fuel if any (should not be required).

Enduro starts just after 9pm.

It's actually a pretty fast track. And a shit ton of fun. The bus stop is great and going through the esses is pretty wild turn 2 wot... Great elevation changes... Same fun as road Atlanta! Fast yet technical.

Oh and yes. It's a chumpcar event. 6 hour race Friday. 8 hour race Saturday and another 6 hours on Sunday. We finished 8th last year outa 92 cars. And the only 4 cyl I. The top ten.

Ordered my tires from Discount Tire Direct...be a bit tricky if warranty issue since US based but after price, duties, shipping, etc, I paid 197 per tire for Continental ExtremeContact DW (245/40/17). I shopped around online and locally and the price they had was between 210 and 250 + tax (and could be plus shipping)

Wheels will be ordered separately but they'll be coming too!

No not mine ken. Mine doesn't have near enough bling to go to a show and I'm much to lazy to arrange to even have it at a show. Lol
