Well damn, thanks for the response on that. any possibility of a coating option coming or no? I don't want to wait a long time but may consider other options depending on when it's estimated...

We're working to find a local reliable source that's still reasonably priced.

A couple have been located it's now working on color for coat options and qty we will send to them to get it done in a batch to keep the cost down as well.

I touched bases with Olympic Coatings in Escondido, CA and they will charge $170 to coat the exterior of header (and not the cat) using their turbo-x thermal barrier coating. Hopefully FT86 SpeedFactory will come up with a lower cost option..

So probably no chance of the ones that were already ordered having coatings?

Well id be down for coating if it isnt crazy expensive and you find out pricing before you send me my header. (Already bought one) oh and if you give me a break on your res V1's :P

That's actually not that bad for coating especially if they are doing a pretty thick coat...
