Yes and Yes.

LED - I created my own wire.
Used Projek_ONE's tread to figure out where to install and take out the wire.
Used Seige's http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50790 DIY for components. Also the monogram is a different wire color for #5. It's blue instead of red.

PM me if you need help

Returned to stock intake and exhaust, took her into the dealership for cricket confirmation. Parts ordered. Hope they arrive soon, feels like I lost 15 hp on the low end.

Why would dealer care about exhaust and an intake?

CYA for me. The dealership just went through a buy/sell and like all new dealerships they're on temporary approval, essentially probation, for the first year.

New dealership owners tend to toe the line everywhere so they can earn their seven year franchise agreement. That could include strict interpretation of warranty guidelines so their reimbursement rates don't exceed group averages, triggering a red flag and getting unwanted attention from TMS. Given that it's a lower volume metro suburban store, it wouldn't take too many expensive repairs like this to show up on an exception report.

Prolly nothing to worry about, but that's been my experience in the past and a couple hours work removing aftermarket parts kept things simple with no chance of warranty denial notations in the vehicle history file. It was a good investment of my time.

So I just got back from the dealer for a technical issue where my car was consistently lurching forward like the engine was misfiring. Turns out my AEM intake was telling the cars computer to put too much gas. AEM has a chip that piggybacks on the MAF to better control the air fuel ratio. That chip malfunctioned and my FRS was at the dealership for 3 days for a problem that was not covered under warranty. Had the dealer been a total **** they would've told Toyota hq about the aftermarket parts and they I would've officially voided my warranty. They however were awesome and said nothing and simply unplugged the AEM chip. Still cost me over 300 for the service but here is testimate to the importance of CYA.

Interesting for sure. Oddly the main dealer here nearby carries several other exhaust and intakes and installs them right there. Guess it's on a dealer by dealer basis on how they view these things.
