How to hella flush Ohlins coilovers

Already been said why it won't work, but also to add some counterpoints:

• Shorter spring will cause you to lose shock travel
• Stiff spring will require revalving, ideally
• Ohlins rear shock problem is that the shock body is too long, so the lower bracket "bottoms out" on the shock body. The solution presented here by @h4nh allows the shock body to be mounted physically higher (versus the rear suspension mount points on the chassis), thus artificially raising the rear coilover higher into the chassis. The end result is the ability to lower the car more without compromising suspension travel or comfort.

Or long story short: your solution is not as cost effective.

Well... considering the selling price dropped by $500 or so between mid-2013 and Jan 2014... technically Ohlins did get cheaper.

Sorta. Makes me sad that I could've saved $500 if I waited 6 months.

I regret getting 19's because it's hard to resell! Everyone wants 17's and 18's for this car. Which is more ideal anyways. I just think 19's make it look more modern since porsche's come with 20's now. I think 19 would be max on this car though

I'm planning on doing the same setup, so I've got a few questions. Which kit for the Raceseng rear plates did you get? KW? RCE? or did you get a custom? How much is the adjustment range compared to stock at the highest and lowest front and rear; -1 to -2 inches?
