i just accepted a new job in the LA area so i'll be walking to the event LOL, man i cant wait!

Nope. Jeff was supposed to contact me yesterday about travel but I never heard from him. I'll probably call if I don't hear from them by Monday.

Dealing with these people hasn't been entirely pleasant. At this point, I might prefer to take an alternate prize instead of this ridiculous trip.

Meh. They have 85 oth people to book trips for. I'm sure its a pain in the ass to keep straight. It supposed to be fun. If your not having fun, then don't go.

When asked, I was told there is no alternate prize to be offered. I was asking to post here, as I planned to go.

That said, Scion also told me on Tuesday the FR-S would be at the Atlanta Auto Show and on Thursday we found it wasn't.

Well that sure sucks! I get the impression that the corporate offices have very little to do with car shows. When I called an asked about something similar they seemed rather clueless.

I've had a couple setbacks and talked to these people numerous times via email and phone. Their availability is shit... it doesn't take very long to answer an email, at all. You expect people to have their shit together. If they can't book 86 flights (which they don't even have to considering the number of local winners) then they shouldn't be in the business.

i got an email today, asking for my info for travel...which they already got in my last email...and flight info...which i already gave them as nil because i live across town...

$215 meal and taxi stipend to and from airport.
