Enduro on GT6 this Wednesday

For this week, we're doing an enduro (long race) at Grand Valley Speedway (the long one) with the Amuse Nismo 380RS on Race Mediums. We will do 12 laps, so it will be around a 24-minute enduro. No tire wear or fuel for now.

Grand Valley Speedway is 18 turns over 3.07 miles, some tight corners, some long sweepers, kinda like Bogie.
Fast laps would be under 2 minutes.

And key to fast & consistent laps with the Nismo is smooth, slow in - fast out driving. If you try to wrestle it around, it won't be your friend.

Practice up. We will hit the enduro on the first race after 9pm.

As always, anyone is welcome to join. Shoot me a PM if you want deets.

Hey have another question for you guys (when the fuck will he shut up ) ! Do you guys have any good spot/scenery/building/places to takes sick pictures of the car ? And are you aware of any abandonned parking lots/big paved open space where one could really pratice and learn the limit of his first RWD car?

I haven't yet Ken, but will be sure to this season.

Will be interesting to see what a bunch of 'enthusiasts' think of the glowy bits. I'm not a huge fan of the badges. Would probably turn them off if I could. Most people seem to like them.

The Ikea parking lot, maybe? Granted, I've only been in Ottawa for a year.

Yeah that's huge but alot of adjacent buildings and road... I'm thiniking something more "backroad" to attract less attention and hopefully go during the day

Edit: Unless you meant Ikea parking lot to take pics, but I'm not that of a fan on Sweden hahaha

Haha. Nono, I meant for the driving.
The road leading up to Camp Fortune/Mont Cascades is pretty nice. A few winding roads. Nothing crazy though.

I live in Montreal too, so the drive up to Tremblant is the best for me

As far as pictures, have you thought about Gatineau park?

Thought I would update a bit.
Currently slated in the M4 class (Modified), there should be some good competition for us including a Time-Attack STi.
I think the FT86 will do well in this event since you can only use 1 set of street tires through the entire event so I think we'll have an advantage with the lighter platform in having our tires last through the week.

Should be a fantastic event and so far already a good group from Ottawa with already 3 local teams participating. So far, the event is 20% filled already with a total of 60 teams allowed.

Check with @Mike86CelicaGTS - he's found some really cool spots. However, I think he's was trespassing on most.

Trust me I got fined often in the park.. even at 4 am... I just want a big open lot to pratice powerslides and basic drifting without destroying a curb (or most likely) a rim

Any shopping center or grocery store after hours is your best bet it's where I did my hoolaganism when I was learning. Another good spot to learn to drive your car is at an autocross event !
